Cara, that actually sounds mildly interesting. What sort of alternative world? We talking sci fi, fantasy, or alternate earth? My favorite book series, aside from the Hunger Games, is a SLIGHTLY feminine *cough* fantasy series called The Chronicles of Elantra. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.
