Ivan watched intently as the cage was brought into his room. He licked his lips once and tilted his head a little to look at the young woman in the cage. In an instant, he disappeared from the spot a few feet away from the cage, then reappeared right in front of the cage. He flashed the young woman a toothy smile, showing her his extended canines, but frowned when he focused on her eye. He let out a sigh and opened the cage, walking slowly back to the spot he was at before the cage arrived. "Of course they would send me the defect. Come, out you go, human. Do not make me get in there. You won't like it if I do." Of all the new humans that came in, The Manager just had to send the defected one. Typical. It was bad enough he was the "outcast" of the staff, but it would have been somewhat nice to at least get a fully functional human. Then again, other than the bad eye, she wasn't half bad. Ivan turned around slowly and stared at the young woman. "Well? Are you coming or not? There is a lot to be done around here, and quite frankly, I am hungry."
