Rand shook his head, still keeping away eye contact. The creature was good at pushing its feelings and influences at him but fortunately Rand was prepped at these kind of mental attacks. The hunter instead pushed himself to know all the dangers and remember all the terrible things that have happened to his fellow hunters and how he’s never safe around supernatural. “Look, trying to influence me into safety will just push me into the opposite. And seriously, why would I even think of this cage as a paradise? I mean it doesn’t smell but boy I can hardly do push-ups in this thing. And for a name you can call me He Who Must Not Be Named,” he said, still rifling through his mental notes. Rand glanced at the being again, noticing the light around X now. “You…” Light, is that a clue? A mistake? Or something to lead me away from what he is? Rand wondered. Come on, I’m so close. I need something else to confirm! ----- The Manager nodded and took the two hundred from Sapphire. “That’ll probably cover for three actually,” he said, putting the money away. “And as for the human…” The Manager looked back over at his monitor and viewed over the prisoners. “You’re in luck, I’ve still got two boys left. They’ve really gone fast today, hopefully I’ll have some more soon,” he said smiling. “I’ll have one be there by the time you go back to your suite, and some of the blood you ordered. The Manager looked back at Elijah and nodded. “Right, I need you to go down to the basement for ‘treatment’ on one of our guests down there. You should know the code for access and just tell the guard there that you’re there for prisoner 18. He’s been quite obnoxious lately so I think giving him some of your variety can shut him up.” ------- Matrim looked over at the boy who was trying to calm down but then suddenly stopped as if he just shut down. Matrim waited for several moments before shouting, “Hey, you OK?” Matrim waved to get the boy’s attention but suddenly his cage fired straight up. Matrim flinched and held onto the bars. After several minutes, he was deposited into a fancy suite. Matrim shook, but didn’t see anyone yet. Looking over at the door Matrim started kicking on it, hoping that it could possibly open up. --------- Carter chuckled again. This would be very fun breaking her. “Actually, I know I can boss you around Freya,” he retorted. “And I still really don’t understand how you’re calling me your slave while you’re the one in the cage. For all I care you can rot in there until you die.” Carter turned away from Freya and walked over to the kitchen, whistling a small tune and grabbing the key to Freya’s cage. “So, in order for me to release I want you to refer to me as Master Carter, and you better say it nicely.”
