Connor knew he couldn't spend much more time on this job, so tonight was his last chance to find the vampire. He mingled in with the crowd of homeless, muttering polite welcomes and mostly trying to fit in. His clothes were perhaps a little better then most here, but he felt that he still fit in well enough. He glanced about, moving to a table when the doors were open, and waited for tne food to be served. He rarely ate the food served, instead giving it to someone else. It didn't feel right eating from a homeless shelther when he could afford food. As it was served, he lined up, looking about. It had to be one of thr servers, he thought, or one of the cooks. So he studied each and everyone, hoping his sense would help him. He spied someone, a woman, who was very oily. Just like tnat, or was it sunscreen for protection against the sun? He already knew.
