As the intro suggests, you are part of Team Midly Competent, a group of superheroes stationed in a small town in Nevada. Recently, doppelgangers and a creature dubbed Mimic have made their appearance, the first real supervillains who have faced the group, created by their 'daddy'. This mysterious mastermind has somehow also managed to poison each of the party members, injecting them with a parasitic worm that will eventually eat them from the inside out if nothing is done.
