Just look at the real world for example. Us humans are greedy, if someone kind comes along we will consume and abuse them till they are depleted, it's human nature. We do cruel things to others so our lives can be better.
No, that's not human nature. Human nature is to search for any alternative to hurting people in search of self-betterment before resorting to those things that do. It's a common misconception that humanity is cruel, because in the modern world, those in power are corporations. Corporations are almost always run by psychopaths, and it is a psychopath's nature to be cruel and manipulative for the purposes of self-betterment, which is why they run the corporations in the first place. They are the only ones with no apprehension as to what they'll do to win. However, most people who work for the corporations are governed by Human Nature, and that is to be kind and generous whenever you can, or at least feel bad when you do something that hurts others.
