Happy Mother's Day! Also, I know with superpower roleplays one of the things people get frustrated with is people with the same powers in any variation as their own. While I realize that many mutants share similar if not identical mutations, we'd like to keep this diverse (unless your characters are related) so go ahead and call power dibs. And, depending on X's decision, I personally don't mind powerful characters. It's Marvel; There are kids that can destroy a city with a tantrum. BUT! Not everyone can be Omega level, guys. I hate when people try to compete on power levels. And, obviously, teachers will be more powerful than students. Students will not have absolute complete mastery over their abilities. It's one of the main reasons for them being there. Plus power mishaps are always comical. Another note, (with X's approval) is that characters can have no more than three powers. If the power is non relating to the first, it has to have been obtained by experimentation. Character: Rebekah Torres aka Apollo In addition to her ability to manipulate visible light, she has a mutation that grants supernatural instinctual artistic abilities in a variety of areas of art.  Part of the art based mutation that makes it so special is her ability to convey emotions through her work: Singing, dancing, poetry, etc. She can  [s]manipulate[/s] coerce emotions this way and can also generate a number of sounds from thin air, mimic any sound with extremely adaptive and strong vocal chords, mimic any move she's seen once, and make people break out into song and dance along with her. She can pretty much turn any moment into a Broadway musical, lol.
