"Thank you." We've arrived on a massive planet covered in forests and woods. It's dark, but warm, which shows that this planet definitely has a sun, or some other source of light. The stars are clearly visible, although some parts of the sky are obscured by the heavy canopy. However, there is also a general sense of dread. All the animals have gone, for one reason or another.
