Staryu's and Magikarps floated keenly through the sparkling blue oceans, and humanity grew with each passing day. Life was peaceful, and happy, and with every new year comes a new generation of trainers to care their own cliche into the World of Pokemon. A quaint, beautiful town that sits alongside a large ocean route houses the famous Professor Oak, researcher of everything Pokemon related. With the coming year, he has bred new starter Pokemon for the children whom's journey is just beginning. 

Lately, an ad has been seen in a newspaper that goes around Pallet Town. 'See Professor Oak for your trainer license, and starter Pokemon kit!' Signed by the renowned professor himself!
