Lily - Garden "Why would I leave you?" Matt asked, his voice soft, a small smile on his face. "I have nowhere to go." He continued and walked over to a bench, motioning for Lily to join him. She couldn't shake the feeling of being left behind and she didn't know why. She gave Matt a small warm smile and walked over to sit next to him. He was very kind to her... "Listen, I would never forsake you. You are my best friend in the entire world. Whatever trouble you go through, I'm here for you." He spoke, his voice again soft. She looked over at him, the straw now in her mouth again. Her brows furrowed and she pulled away from the milkshake. "You'd do that for me? Somehow... I don't believe you. No one has ever done anything for me." She explained, laughing awkwardly at her own pain. "I've never been well liked, by anyone." She explained further, looking at the fish in the pond. I've been here nearly all day and it's starting to get dark... With a sigh, she looked over at Matt with a warm smile. "Thank you Matt. I'll be... right back." She told him, standing up. She closed her eyes and let her wings grow in size, long enough now to really carry her weight. And with that she jumped up, her wings doing most of the work. They lifted her up and up and soon she was flying around. The cold air whipping her hair and her dress. She spun, enjoying the flight, her eyes closed in bliss. It'd been a strange day. She felt.. strange. It was like something was screaming at her, something she didn't want to forget but had no choice. She ignored the headaches now, assuming they would just be a part of her life now. She'd felt like she had to 'fix' it but she didn't know why. Why was she 'broken'? What was there to fix? She sighed as she flew. She felt bad for Matt, the boy that knew her. How many others had she forgotten? What memories lay deep inside her, locked away for some unknown reason. She didn't know but she felt that she must, despite the pain.
