R'yak was not expecting the saiyan to call Orin kin, and this made him curious. he decided that he would check with his contact lenses to see if it was true that the human boy was indeed a saiyan. his contacts had the capabilities to look the DNA structure of lifeforms to see if there were any genetic similarities between species to document when his people were exploring alien worlds. after about a moment, his lenses did see faint traces of saiyan DNA in Orin's blood and R'yak was now curious to know how Kaliflur would know that the boy had saiyan heritage.
