I'd just chalk it up to fortunate timing. Nearly everyone in the RP was on going ham in the OOC right when the action started. Luck i guess. We just need another action moment to kickstart everything again after everyone is sufficiently acquainted and free in real life...knowing you and Hylian there's probably one already planned :P
