The sounds of birds penetrated Euphae's mind and woke her from a peaceful sleep. She opened her eyes and let her thoughts wander for a few moments before throwing off the covers and stretching her limbs, her feet planted firmly on the wood floor. She shuffled over to her closet and slid the door open. As she got dressed she felt her stomach growl impatiently. Euphae sighed and pat her slightly bulging tummy. Closing the door behind her, Euphae stepped into the hall. For a moment she stood there. She realized she didn't know where to go to be fed. She looked around, seeing no one that she could follow or ask for direction. She left the hall and found a directory in the main lobby. Wondering how she'd never noticed it before, Euphae found the nearest cafe and made her way to it. In her mind, she complained to herself about having to walk all the way to the far corner of the second floor before she could get food.
