The very sight of a mother beating their child like this was enough to stun Adrian briefly, however that ended quickly and a thin mist transformed into a dark storm cloud that completely covered the ceiling of Lydia's room. A bolt of lightning struck her mother, and sent her back. That's when part of the storm cloud broke off of the larger mass and descended to the ground, transforming into Adrian, who has a slasher smile on his face "you touched Lydia in a bad way, now I get to touch [i]you[/i] in a bad way" he reached out and touched her leg with and electrified hand, shocking her, but not causing and real harm (just pain), however it did knock her out cold. Turning around and kneeling down, he pulled Lydia into a big hug, that's when he did something he had never done before; cry "why...why didn't you ever tell me? I-I-I had no idea your parents were so cruel to you. You should have told me" while he still hadn't seen her father, he felt it was safe to assume that he wasn't much better, given how quick her mother was to start beating her "please...let me take you away from here. Your parents don't love you, no loving parent could ever do that to their child. Please...let me keep you safe" he begged her
