Raina is a strange girl to say the least. She’s a very quirky person, seeming to live in a different world. She’s very artistic, preferring to express herself through her artwork or music. She’s usually seen carrying around a sketchbook, and often seen doodling in it. She also plays a variety of instruments and can be heard singing all the time. Her artistic and musical ability is incredible due to her spending her time with those two activities rather than socializing.

She’s very observant and perceptive, and has the ability to tell when someone is lying. Due to this, she loves people watching, and often able to catch the subtle clues and inner turmoil. When someone acts like they’re okay and they’re really not, Raina can see right through their tough exterior. Fortunately for that person, Raina is a great listener and is more than willing to help people work through their problems. Even though she doesn’t spend a lot of time trying to make friends, she’ll go out of her way to go cheer someone up.

Another notable thing about Raina is that she believes in the supernatural. She claims that she can see auras, ghosts… Things of that nature. Even skeptics will give a double-take about Raina and her peculiar tendencies. Stemming from her perceptive nature, Raina can seem like she’s staring right into your soul, and at times will remark a spot-on detail that will give chills to believers and non-believers alike.

Raina was always a bit different from anyone. It’s said, that babies can see the unworldly, and that’s why they often stare at seemingly nothing, crying or laughing. Most infants grow out of it, but not Raina. Her peculiar “sight” has never faded away, however, the things she saw and experienced seemed to not be detrimental in any way. For the most part, she was a happy child, and her parents brushed her strange tendencies off to imagination.

She never had many friends, her skills not lying in the social aspect whatsoever. However, the mystery surrounding her has coaxed many people to try to understand her, and to each one Raina has allowed a glimpse into the complexity of her life. Though she has very few friends that she can count on, Raine is well-liked for her kindness, her artistic ability and the respite she offers from the mundane-ness of life.

Despite the aloofness she radiates, all Raina has ever wanted was a friend who wouldn’t judge her. A boyfriend would be nice too, but she has developed an insecurity about herself due to people referring to her as a freak when she was younger. In high school, there are people who wouldn’t have anything to do with her, but even they are endlessly intrigued by her.
