[hider=Book Theories] I've only recently delved deep into the fan theories. A lot of them I find on r/asoiaf. There's the ones that are completely ridiculous (Stannis is actually a giant praying mantis) but they're a lot of fun to read an imagine. 

The theory about Jon isn't that he wargs into Wun Wun to protect himself. That was my bad on the phrasing. What the theory states is that Jon accidentally wargs into Wun Wun when trying to calm him, not knowing that he actually wargs into him. Then while he's inside Wun Wun, Wun Wun gets attacked by the Stewards of the Night's Watch. So the stewards are actually stabbing Wun Wun and not Jon. I don't believe it, but it's a cool idea.

Again, interesting, but not entirely sure if it'll happen.

I'll try to find the one about Stannis being the Night King. It's pretty reliant on the Great Northern Conspiracy though.
