"don't trust it" i say evenly as i toss it into the woods and finish eating, heading into my tent to get changed into some normal clothes and leaving everything else. "and that thing's easy to knock off" i add evenly before jumping into the pit, landing with a thud, and waiting for my eyes to adjust to the darkness
