That's applying a human will to a vampire's instincts. It may be just me, but I've always seen vampires as more slaves to their need for blood than a human is slave to their need to eat. It has nothing to do with being weak willed, it is simply a part of a vampire's nature. I have no problem however long you want it to take, but I don't want you thinking that drinking is, how to say, an insult to his pride. Does this make any sense? For me, after a point, it no longer comes down to the strength of his will. At a point, his mind and will have nothing to do with it, so. . . . . .He never would make the conscious decision to drink(I agree, he would never willingly consent to such a thing), more like he suddenly wakes up from a frenzy and he isn't as hungry as he was before. That way his pride is not wounded as bad, if at all, and . . . .Yeah. . . . .
