Lexi didn’t show much expression when he opened the door, her head mixed with feelings of the situation. Anger for not knowing, understanding for why she couldn’t know, annoyance that he would play her with the whole Spider-Man thing, letting her kiss him and face him the next day without even a mention; no hint, nothing. Happiness that he would want to fight for justice like she would always want him to do; annoyance that he would allow himself to get beat up on a regular basis at school when he had the power to defend himself and others. Pinning someone would have been enough to get the point across because sometimes violence isn’t needed, and he could have easily done that instead of walking around with a busted eye and fat lip all day. As he began to ramble she held up her hand to cut him off and walked inside. Kicking off her shoes like normal she sat down on the couch and placed her small purse on the coffee table. “I’m fine, a bit banged up but I’m fine. I understand why you had to leave Peter, and if you had tried to stay I would have pushed you away. It’s not safe for anyone to know and I did a lot of thinking last night.” She took in a deep breath and began. Her head hung slightly obviously beginning with the difficult stuff. “I felt a bit betrayed last night, in finding out. After the moment on the roof was the time you should have told me. After we kissed, you should have told me. It started a lot of conflict in myself when that happened, not only did that happen once but we then made out and you kissed me before leaving after saving me from the muggers. I had such… such conflicts after that night.” She let out a small sigh and explained to him what happened after he left with Rick, unaware that he already knew. “I had made a choice last night, I was going to come clean and tell you everything that had happened because, I knew that that I liked you more than I liked Spider-Man. I… I had made a choice to tell you how I felt about you and then everything happened.” Letting out another small sigh she finally looked up at him. “I respect Spider-Man and what he does for the city; but…” Her eyes watered slightly, “I love you Peter. You for you, with or without Spider-Man, I love you.” She nodded, before wiping some water away from the tear ducks of her deep blue eyes then ran her hand through her long black hair that was down. “I would say I’d be worried about you going out and fighting crime, but after seeing you handle yourself against Rick, I think I’d be more worried about the people you’re going after then you.” A smile curled the corner of her full lips soft pink lips. “Your secret’s safe with me Peter, I’ll take it to my grave and even God won’t get it out of me. Just… just tell me how it happened. That’s all I want to know.”
