"Alright, fine!" Thea gave in with a sigh, heading back into the room. She could not understand the templar. One moment she was all cold and professional, the next she was looking out for the mage's welfare. Keeping her distance to protect Thea seemed like a strange idea to her - the door was hardly the only way into the room, and Kaitlyn would hardly be able to handle a mob by herself. She sat down on the bed and didn't think of it much, but soon the fatigue from the day's travels and events caught up with her and she fell asleep, haunted by dreams of the people she had left behind. A new life awaited her when the sun rose, and where it would take her was anyone's guess. She awoke with the sun shining on her face, and found the space on the bed beside her empty. The templar had really stood guard outside her room throughout the night then. She got dressed and washed up, half-expecting to wake up in her aravel at any moment, still unsure this wasn't all some horrible dream.
