I'll help out too with whatever I can. I don't have the ability to create maps and such but I can toss ideas around lol. I like the idea of the setting being something like NYC with skyscrapers and tall buildings but with different boroughs to add some variety. Umm...some key locations could be like a downtown area/times square section, every city needs a nice park, don't forget the seamy underbelly part of town, maybe a beach or amusement park, an advanced subway or sewage system, a military base could be interesting, an airport, a bridge or tunnel that connects the city with the rest of the world, umm...a bunny ranch? lol How do you feel about the city being one large central locations, with like different sections mentioned above? It just seems like it’ll be easier for people to interact if they’re normally within a reasonable radius of one another? Also I have a question about how the points are distributed. It seems like everyone is able to make up their own categories and pour the appropriate amount of points into them. Do you think it would be easier to just have a core set of abilities and let everyone set up their characters accordingly? I mean people could still make whatever super powered character they want but as far as skills sets to compare characters abilities I was thinking something like this: Strength Strength is your raw physical power, can you overturn an SUV? It's also how much damage it takes to bring you down. Dexterity This is your speed and agility. At top rank this person is going to be pacing a cheetah in a dead sprint and doing half a dozen somersaults off walls before landing unharmed. Intelligence This one is tricky, because obviously intelligence is going to be drawn heavily from the the brain of the player, not their character. But how about we say it's a prerequisite for creating/using advanced technology. Perhaps it could possibly be used for logical explanations. Ex: “Well if I put a lever under here and…” or “I know that this plant would make an excellent, flavorless poison/antidote.” Finesse This is your accuracy, your reaction speed and your perception. If you want to be a weapons or combat specialist this is a must. This would be a stat that helps you land a hit on the speedster, if his dex is much higher than yours, or precision tag a chink in someone’s armor. Willpower This is your characters resolve. Do they refuse to go down? It's also their endurance; if your opponent is a better fighter than you, you can try to drag the fight out and tire them out. It will help you resist telepathy, poisons and drugs. A character with a high will power will recover from injuries insanely quickly.
