When the wild pokemon started to wander off, Rosina returned Cottonee and Azurill to their balls and adjusted her grip on the hot egg. "Alright boys! Cerulean isint gonna come to us so lets go!" she said skipping off without them. As she made the short walk to the city, she would occasionally hear a rustling in the grass behind her, to which she'd turn, and notice nothing out of the ordinary. After shrugging it off a few times she turned and started walking backwards to see what it was. As soon as she did, a little white and blue squirrel pokemon poked its head of of the nearby bushes. She recognized it as a Pachirisu, likely the one eating some food from before. Kneeling down to his level she waved him over. 

"Hey little one." she noticed a distinct sign about its tail that let her know it was a girl. "I'm sorry, theres no more food. You can head on home now girl." she told it petting its ear.

"Pachi Pa pa!!" it said running in a circle around her. She smiled then. "Say, would you like to be friends with me?" she asked. 

"Pachi!" it said before running off.

Rosina stood frowning. "Oh. Guess not." with that, she turned and continued her way to Cerulean.
