Her heart was pounding as she kept ahold of her lower lip listening to him talk and watching his soft brown eyes; her fingers played lightly with his hair as he spoke. Lexi’s head tilted to one side, her hair falling off of her shoulders like a silky black curtain. His question was an obvious one but it couldn’t have come soon enough. After everything they’ve gone through, everything they’ve put up with and how long they had been friends; it was bound to happen with the ever-growing feelings she was having for him. And now, finally, she knew he felt the same with her; something she didn’t think she’d ever encounter. A smirk overtook her nervous lip biting, as she pulled herself away from him. Her hands dancing back down his neck to his chest and falling back to her side. “Aunt May.” She called out. “Yes dear?” “Peter and I have to make a quick run to the library; I need to return a book. We’ll be back in about a half an hour okay?” “That’s fine dear just be safe, I’ll have lunch ready when you two get back.” With that she walked to the door and leaned her back against it. “Do you need to grab anything before we go?” She asked softly to Peter, another smirk curling up the right corner of her full lips. “I can’t wait to see where my boyfriend takes me.” Oh yes, she marked it; they were official.
