~The stuttering confession from his counterpart was enough to raise a few questions in Seishu's mind. However the peace and harmony of the place kept his from feeling the need to have some sort of retort for it. He's been blushing for a while. I wonder if he notices. A warm feeling bubbles in his stomach at the rather pathetic attempt to at least try and move away from him, but his smile remains without malice or spite. Instead when Enasi looks away to the world below, lost far beneath the cloud cover, he begins wondering if there is something he can do. . . His eyes narrow, a faint shimmer coming from his hands where they rest on the other's lower back. Somehow, he knows it's just what he needs. He can just feel it. Carefully he slides his hands up to rest between Enasi's shoulder blades. The shimmer seems to take a more solid form and Seishu's smile widens. I get it. I can give it to him. I can share with him. He hums low in his throat at Enasi's compliment, recalling once saying something about the two never being able to do such a thing for the other. The recollection brings a chuckle from deep inside, however his focus remain on his work. The shimmering strands begin lacing together, weaving in and out, around and through, each strand no larger than a thread of silk from a spiderweb. “That is the lullaby you asked me about before. It's something the nurses came up with eons ago for the little ones. They use to just hum something nonsensical or play some instruments, but one night a young nurse was telling a young boy about the night mothers.” He glances at Enasi with a innocent grin before returning his focus to the energy. “It was kind of a joke about the one who had my job before me. I don't remember her all that well, but she was quite the terror. A few of my own subjects thought of her as a role model. I had to deal with that a while ago. . .But that's not part of the story.” He lets out a sigh, his work half finished. “The child was afraid, fearing the night mothers, so he told the boy it was alright, that the night fathers would keep them in check.” He gives Enasi another small smile. “That was a reference to us actually. Since we replaced them, in essence it is we that keep from the rise of more night mothers, so. . . .Well, one of the other nurses started humming, and he began to sing. The song was rough at first, a lot of stuttered lines, and forgotten parts, but eventually the staff worked out something, and an actual set of notes, and poof! They made the first Nightmare Lullaby.” Humming again Seishu smiles, his work finished. He presses his fingers firmly against Enasi's back, between the shoulder blades as before, however this time the energy latches on to the Dream Guardian. After a few seconds he can feel the weight atop him increase, however his flight does not falter. Instead he gives Enasi a look of victory. Ever so gently he takes Enasi by the shoulders and pushes him upwards. He moves slowly, trying not to spook the man, each inch a small achievement. “It's alright, I know what I'm doing. I can feel it, things will be alright. Let me help you.” Seishu can not understand where his words are coming from, such things he has never heard from his lips save for his own minions, and normally only the children at that. However, foreign though they feel, he does not feel disturbed by their presence. When at last he has Enasi sitting upright, his knees hanging to the sides of Seishu's waist with his feet still hooked around the Nightmare Guardian's legs, Seishu braces him carefully and keeps his movements strait and steady. In many other situations he may have found the position irresistible to teasing, however that is not his goal right now. Instead he splays his fingers across the other's chest and simply looks at him for a few seconds. His hair ruffles slightly in the soft breeze, his clothes flapping gently, and behind him a pair of glorious white fluffy wings ripple in the fiery light from the setting sun. They are still bent close to his body, the tenseness of the other reflected in their state. His lips spread in a gentle smile as he looks into his counterpart's eyes. “There is no way I would allow the lord of dreams to be denied the right to one of the fondest dream powers man has ever come up with. If you falter, I will catch you. So when you're ready, just spread your wings, and let the sky take you.”~
