“You really don’t tend to show off your body?” She repeated in a slightly sarcastic yet extremely playful tone. “The first time I met you as Spider-Man you knowledged the fact that you were in a skin time outfit and even pointed at it; when you point at something almost everyone will look.” Rolling her deep blue eyes at him, she gave him a cheeky smile, reminding him that she was only joking. He was so gentle and yet, so strong, so rough and yet so kind, to defense yet so caring; she got the best of both worlds, a strong protector and a caring and loving friend. Spider-Man and Peter Parker as one person, the one person she was proud to consider her boyfriend. When he said he found her incredibly beautiful, her face turned red, normally she got that she looked ‘hot’ from her ex-boyfriends but hearing that she looked beautiful was much more of a complement; especially from someone who was as important to her as Peter. With his forehead against hers, she looked into those soft brown eyes of his; there were times where she’d just get lost staring into them when he would go on and on about something to do with science or photography. Not that she didn’t find it interesting; she loved learning from Peter, but she’d just find herself hypnotized, She couldn’t hold back the smile that he commented about but she did find the words to speak. “I’ve liked you for a long time Peter, I mean a very very long time,” Lexi said stretching the word to show its importance. “I’ve always found fun to be around and quirky funny in your own unique and unmatched way but it wasn’t until we started to inch closer and closer to this whole adulthood thing that I started to realize that my feelings for you were a lot deeper than a friendship. Which is why I haven’t dated anyone for the past couple of years,” Oh yes, she knew how sought after she was at school but that never mattered to her. “Then you showed up as Spider-Man, sweeping me off my feet, literally,” At that word she rolled her eyes playfully before looking back at him, “protecting me and watching over me as a true friend would. And now I get the best of all worlds; I get my protector, my inspiration, my best friend and my boyfriend all in one. I don’t think there is single person in New York that’s happier than me.”
