Rex had woken up this morning with a new app on his phone. He hadn't downloaded it... it had just been there. He was still confused hours later. His skin was quite pale, and his black hair was somewhat neat, just neat enough to pass as a responsible young man upon first glance; his eyes-- through some fluke of nature-- were silver, like moonlight. He was dressed in simple clothes: black steel-toe shoes, old jeans, ripped at the knees, a white t-shirt, and a black jacket; strapped to his forehead was a pair of black goggles with reflective, gold lenses. It was another long day at school, between the tough work and jocks and jerks, and the several club meetings after school. He tapped the "N". "Transfer/Upgrade in progress." There was a bright light from Rex's phone so bright he had to close his eyes. When he opened his eyes his phone had transformed... and a beautiful young woman knelt in front of him. As she screamed at the sky his jaw dropped. "What the hell...?"
