Sunlight came in through the half blind covered windows, and gently on to the blonde woman's face. Selena sat up in her bed and yawned.

Sighing, Selena pulled on her usual green dress and brown knee boots as she walked out of the room and down the stairs. 
She grabbed her green bonnet and walked into the kitchen of the bar that Selena owned.

A small girl sat, humming a tune, amongst some broken glass and some strange orange and green liquid.
"Trying to master magic again, Mimi?" Selena asked with a grin as she grabbed a mop.
"Yup" Mimi replied giggling as she wiped the liquid off the floor.

Selena started cleaning off Mimi's hair, still smiling.
"What is this stuff anyway?" she inquired, looking at lock of her sisters hair.
"It's some stuff I found in the fridge!" she replied, bouncing up and down happily.
"Okay..." Selena replied, doubting her sisters judgement. "Well, we need some more bread and curry powder it seems. Anything else?"
"Chocolate!" Mimi shouted, running up the stairs to get her hat.

They then set off around seven for the grocers, talking happily as they walked along the path.
When they reached the grocery shop, they stopped.
"Okay, what do we need?" Selena asked Mimi, who was bouncing up and down.
"Curry powder, bread, green tea and cake!" she replied.
"Mhh-hhm! We also need to refill on beer and juice for the bar. Lets go!" Selena replied

The duo pushed past the wooden doors into the shop.
"Alright, I'm going to go get the groceries, why don't you go talk to Peter?"
"Ok!" Mimi replied, skipping off to go talk to the other kid.
Selena started going through the list of things to get, humming a song while she did so.
