Had you told Lexi three years ago that she would be dating Peter, she wouldn’t have believed you, had you told her two years ago that some guy would be swinging around in a leotard saving the city and its people from horrible crimes, she’s laugh at you. And if you were to tell her a year ago that the guy who just showed up would be none other than her best friend she would roll her eyes and tell the person they were crazy. And now here they were, interlocked in tongues-menship over time square as boyfriend and girlfriend. When he agreed to tell them, a large smile moved across her face; that simple uncontrollable smile she only gave to Peter. A nod left her when he said that they have a right to know and gave him a cheeky smile when he said he did enough sneaking around as is. “You are quite the sneaky one Peter.” Her hands traveled down from his hair to his shoulders, still surprised that he had gained so much strength, it was very attractive. The smile stayed on her face as she leaned back, away from him as he got his backpack and pulled out his camera. She examined the photos he had just taken before he turned the camera on her. She posed a few times jokingly with laughter on her face before he mentioned something about her eyes. She then expanded staring at the camera, making them look like they were going to pop out of her eyes. As he turned the camera to her to look at the photos she started to laugh as they flipped through it. “Geeze we should do our senior graduation photos up here, the light is perfect.” She said with a nod before she snatched the camera from him. Holding it out, she grabbed his chin and turned his head to look at her; she pressed her lips against his and snapped the photo. Lowering the camera down, she kept the kiss a little longer before pulling back slowly. She turned the camera and turned on the screen to show the picture of them kissing, she had caught it just right that all anyone could see was their faces; eyes closed and lips locked but there was no hint of where they were or what outfits they were in. “Now, that one I want a copy of. Maybe we can print it off when we get to your house. It deserves a frame, there’s no doubt about that.” A twinkle carried over in her deep blue eyes as she turned them to look at Peter. She was about to go in for another kiss when her phone rang, a ringtone they both knew. A sigh left her as she pulled out her phone and slid the screen over and put it on speaker. “Hello Aunt May.” “Where are you two? It’s been an hour! I can’t keep the hot beef sandwiches hot for much longer.” “We’re on our way back Aunt May. Something exciting came up and we couldn’t help but take the time out of our walk to celebrate.” “What happened?” “Oh…” Lexi said teasingly as she turned her gaze to Peter, that playful twinkle in her eyes. “we’ll tell you when we get home.” “Okay see you soon.” Aunt May’s voice said as the phone hung up. Lexi put her phone back into her pocket as she turned back to Peter, her small hand rested against his cheek. “I guess we should head back to Aunt May.”
