Anthony, now sitting on a stone bench, looks up at Gretchen, sizing her up as she speaks. He answers quietly, "First of all, this is the Academy of Heroes and Villains. Although the majority of students here like to consider themselves future heroes, it is possible to learn how to become an effective villain. Secondly, I don't categorize myself as either hero or villain, both have merits and drawbacks. Thirdly, my Father is not evil. He truly wants to help the world, he's simply shortsighted. Lastly, I'm here to observe the other students. Yes, I've been learning valuable skills, but the main reason is to discover who may one day be of use to me, and who I need to dispose of." While he answers Gretchen's questions, another part of his mind is carrying on a solo conversation. "She's obviously attractive, seems to have adequate control over her powers, and her eloquence suggests intelligence. However, she's erratic and until I process what seems to be completely random behavior and determine a pattern, she's no use to me."
