Peter could tell that Aunt May was extremely happy, no longer caring that they were late. He took his seat next to Lexi, and as Lexi told the story, he gave very faint smirks as he poked his sandwich, too happy listening to Lexi talk. She didn't sound uncertain. Or afraid, or disappointed as she stated that they were in a relationship... He knew that she cared for him, and he knew that after all he has done and said to her just made their bond stronger, but he often forgets that Spider-Man is a part of him. Whenever he is at school, or with Lexi he often forgets that he is a super hero, and an icon. he never forgets his spider sense, or his perfect eye sight, and sometimes his strength... He was just really glad that Lexi chose him, and not his alter ego. "We watched one of your home videos you and Uncle Ben made." he said, his face turning a bit red. "which led to talking as Lex said..." There was much more than talking, but he felt his Aunt wouldn't appreciate the details. "Then i had the stupid idea of trying to help... i got hit by the impact of one of his bombs, and woke up to Spider-Man and he saved everyone..." he glanced at Lexi really quick, then back to Aunt May. "then she came over, talked, and she's stuck with me." he said in his humorous manner. The real story was so much better than the fake one.. or at least he thought so. Aunt May beamed at Peter, then at Lexi. "Well I'm glad you two finally are together!" She said, then turned her attention to her own lunch. "Peter is such a sweet and loving boy." "Aunt May--" Started Peter, feeling his face turn hot. it was what every parent did, they bragged about their own. "Much better than that one young man you brought here during your eighth grade..." She said. Although Peter didn't like that kid, Peter interrupted her. "Thanks, Aunt May..." he stood up, mouthing "i'm sorry!" to lexi as he picked up his now empty plate. "You guys need refills?" He asked, making his way to the kitchen... He was looking forward to the rest of the day. He was assuming he would make their way towards Lexi's house to inform them after this, and then probably work on homework, and get distracted by their new relationship. For once he was actually not going to mind not getting his homework done. He'll escort her home after, then do a patrol of the city, probably going to be screaming with joy and leaping for excitement the whole time.
