Hello there! I'm VanillaCola (VC for short) and I am interested in being a part of some 1x1 RPs. I'm quite new to roleplaying, especially 1x1 RPs. Therefore, if you don't mind giving me a few pointers or answering some of my questions, I'll be very grateful. Saying that, I'll try not to be a pain as I understand how frustrating it could be to more experienced roleplayers. Onto my preferences and other information:

[hider=Posting Length and Times] I tend to only write a two-three paragraphs due to my rather busy life at the moment, but I will try to post something every day or every other day. However, I may be tempted to match my partner's posting length or write more if I am particularly interested or free from real life chaos. Please no one-liners or text speak. I try to put a lot of effort into an RP and I expect the same from my partner.

If something comes up that leaves me unable to post for one or more days, or if I am unable to continue the RP, I will be sure to tell you as soon as possible and it will be very unlikely for me to just abandon the RP.

Also, I live in England, so please bare time zones in mind. [/hider]

[hider=Themes and Preferences] Violence, drugs, sexual themes and other mature subjects rarely put me off, but I will not do smut and I would like to stay away from most sexual fetishes. I am a reasonable person, so if we do decide to RP we may be able to work something out as long as it is done in a tasteful manner that we are both comfortable with.

In terms of gender and relationships, I am open to being either male or female. If I am a female, I would prefer that any romance be FxF, but I may be willing to try MxF as the female depending on the plot/themes. As a male, I am open to either MxF or MxM romances. Of course, there doesn't have to be romance and I am perfectly fine with non-romantic relationships. [/hider]

The following themes and plots are things I don't generally enjoy, but if you have a plot that I find interesting I can be tempted to give it a try:

Angels/demons
Mythology (not very knowledgeable on any kinds)
Historical settings (again, not very knowledgeable)
Anthros/animals
Fairies
Bands/musicians/actors/celebrities
Blood-incest, pedophilia, bestiality or other illegal/taboo things

In terms of fandoms, there aren't many I feel confident enough to do. I'd say the only one would be Resident Evil (I haven't played any of the games after RE5, but I have completed RE5 and its predecessors) and I would be much more partial to being an OC rather than a canon character. Also, I would only be interested in doing an OCxOC romance or non-romance for a Resident Evil RP and not a CanonxOC relationship. More work would need to be put into a fandom-based RP.
