0-2 Fleet Commander's Log: Captain Reyes II This galaxy has been maxed out in colonization for us. Though there are some intelligent life forms that call this place home, they do not seem to mind us bugging around. In fact, they've been allowing colonization as long as they are given a handful of planets for their own use one day. They're so underdeveloped compared to our standards, but...killing off a species to have a planet? Unethical, and the Trinity would have us leave this galaxy in an instant. The more I think about, I wonder if we must give up on our morality. It's as if the Collective or the Equestrians don't have any sense in morality at all, and I dread the day that they do something so unethical that they throw us into a pointless conflict. It's as if the Sazkarjhit are the most cautious out of all, and that stupid pact they joined is dragging them down. Now they'll have to participate in the coming bloodshed, a "gift" that I'm glad we declined to partake in, even if not for the right reasons. Hopefully the most we'll do is just sanctions, maybe combined with the AIF, but it seems they support the Collective more than the Equestrians. From reports on the latest "talks" it's as if our head ambassador was completely ignored....*sigh*. I wonder who will care about us one day... Anyways, we've decided to expand into more galaxies, taking it slow this time. Two more have been started on, while our second is now becoming ever more developed. From what I've heard, we're beginning to pump out new techs fast back at the states. The new materials making it easy for us. When it reaches the day that we might pass one of the big dogs, maybe we wont be ignored anymore. I only fear that we'll lose our ethics and morals in the process...
