Skills: Being apart of the Special Forces for 13 years and the Army for 3 years Prior to that LC Taylor has picked up many skills. Most prominent it Combat, He has been trained to handle a wide arsenal of weapons and explosives. He was contacted By Yamato to lead Security detail on this Mission as well as to neutralize any possible threat to earth or her colonies. 
Apart from Combat Specialization LC Taylor Can think on his feet and asses a situation quickly. This however doesn't mean hes smart. He believes that all the computer and engineering stuff is far too complex, and so he leaves that to less combat able people. 

Description: Lieutenant Colonel Taylor Was born and raised the mega-metropolis of London. He was your typical School Jock, taking part in many full contact sports such as Rugby American football and Boxing. When he graduated from College at age 19 He signed up with the Army and spent the next three years stationed all over Earth on peacekeeping missions as well as being based on Luna Stations. Also peacekeeping. After his Third year he was invited to Try out for the Special Forces, training for all sorts of combat situations. Open warfare, Assassinations, Search and rescue, Protection details. You name it. He has been offered many times to be promoted, But in doing so would mean leaving the field and sitting behind a desk being a pencil pusher all his life. Most of his family on both sides had been in the military and all had been promoted out the field and all said it wasn't worth it. So he was determined to stay in the field. But rumours was starting to fly around that they would force him to be promoted. 
That was until Yamato got in contact with him 2 years ago asking for him to leave the Military and join their Security detail for twice the pay and never the threat of having to be a pencil pusher. So naturally he accepted, knowing that he would leave the Special forces for good and be in the same line of work to an extent. 
This Mission For LC Taylor has no real personal gain Apart from the money and his contact to the Company. So whatever happens he must complete this mission.
