Maybe we just come from different philosophies of RP, but this I find really, truly scary. At that point there is no limit or guide to how a character would work, or how the magic works, or how anything really works and that in a sense ruins the fun for me. The fun is in the limitations and keeping true to them. Otherwise any reasonable and willing suspension of disbelief gets thrown out the window because anything goes as long as it is cool. @Heroes - I get what your saying, I really do, but I'm having a hard time justified internally an activity on Aoife's part because she doesn't know what's going on IC. Honestly, the only person she knows here is Atticus and she's in a situation where she doesn't what is going on and now would probably be a terrible time to start a conversation about it. It's just a really awkward time to have introduced her in my opinion and I'm not sure how to fix that. I agree completely, but don't characters need to be introduced before they can change?
Well gosh it can be well and truly scary. I've seen some horrible, implausible, plot wrecking, textually masturbation sort of stuff done when there were no limits, even the hints of it in the first addition of this very RP. But here you have a wonderful GM who weeds that crap out. On top of that you have some talented writers who tend look to the good of the plot and the fun of their fellow players when writing such posts. Hopefully, eventually you will have trust enough in all the above to just let it happen.
