Zed nodded as he listened closely to the Golden Thunder, blah blah blah. "Indeed. Men like these are not fit to be called as human beings, even trash. They are lower than that." Zed replied as he edged closer, his eyes examined the fried corpses. "I had my share of such massacre. To purge the world of these tyrants, yes." Zed mumbled, poking his foot on one of the corpse's face. "Yet... how different are we to these trash if we stoop down to their level and let our rage do the talking? To take their life would often be inevitable, but, to overdo it would mean that their existence actually unnerved us to the point that we take the punishment to the extreme." Zed looked up to the kid. "Justice? That's a pretty word. If we purge the unjust in this manner, the people would not know peace but fear. You saw how the woman fled in terror even if she knew you saved her from being violated." Zed continued. "There is a difference in maintaining order between willingness and fear... being willing or loyal is the easier part... because the people know that you are just... However, if you show them such extreme brutality, they do not see your justice... they see fear, and a future hand that will dominate them. This nation does not need anymore fear than it already has..." Zed sighed as he flapped his wings, making him hover on the ground. "You have a heart of a hero... You are just one of those chaotic types. I, myself, am just a neutral being... However, if you truly wish to purge this nation of the sickness of death and injustice... then, there's a pair of villains who are planning to unleash a terror which is unknown to most, if not all." Zed proposed to Golden Thunder. "You are not my enemy." "Often chaotic types originate from a tragedy that happened in their lives... Mine was tragic, however, I did my best to ascend from despair... To grow beyond hate.. for hate consumes a person." Zed shivered, remembering his demon. "What separates us from animals is our will to be able to choose when and when not to take a life... and most importantly, when to value one." Zed smiled. "So... would you like to help a mutant save a nation who hates him?"
