Okay. After a bit of research, Empathy as I see it. 

Empathy as a power involves the ability to fully interpret and replicate emotions, moods, and temperaments of others without reading apparent symptoms. This allows users to understand introverts or discover one emotion is actually hiding another. They can attack someone in a personal and emotional way since they know exactly what emotion is flowing through themselves and can use this knowledge to play against them. Some users may learn to read emotional imprints left into environment or objects. 
An Empath can manipulate emotions on others, and possibly use them to empower themselves. Some maybe able to manipulate several people at once. 

An empath can manipulate by touch, a somewhat telepathic ability by being able to manipulate emotions from a distance. 

And I just realised I forgot to put mild telepathic ability with Kalinda's powers to support her emotional abilities.
