Patience, your ship is around, just inconveniently located in most dangerous spot for our PC's we aren't Jedi... Plus your pacifist is going to need to muster up a good plan to convince the hunters, mainly the angry femando hell-bent on vengeance. But as you noted IC, the Krayt Fang is a piece of junk. 

Still doesn't remove the big factor in all these decisions: Teemo.... and its about to go from bad to worse for our PCs.
