I'm a twenty-one year old American male with a vivid imagination, and a love for the art form above all else. I live in the east coast, and thus, I'm in the American-Eastern (UTC-05:00). I'm a person who loves to tease people, so don't take it personally. Speaking of which, I write on an advance level (though, I may dip into casual if I'm not feeling it), and can write some pretty detailed and three dimensional characters (My characters are thought out in general, of course). I don't really care for jamming a post with unnecessary detail as I care about putting the essentials into a post, so keep that in mind if you want to RP with me.

I value creativity above all else. I'm more of a Scifi/Modern guy than fantasy, and I do like realism in my RPs (even if it's a small amount) because all media is based on reality in one way or all.

And I don't want to write a sappy romance RP as I want to write a good story, so we'll have to work out the deets.

Academy 218

Set in my Verthaven/Baybridge Universe is an Academy that was the setting for several different Roleplays known as Academy 218. Basically Xavier's School for Gifted Fuckboys within the bounds of that setting. Part of me wants to run this RP again, but I don't think now would be a good time for a group RP, so I'm gonna run it as a 1x1. My basic idea is that someone plays the "main character/protagonist," and I play the colorful cast of side characters. We can discuss any number of characters, but I'd prefer to see what main character you have cooked up so I can base my cast around it.

Street-Fighter/Fighting-Game based RP

I have been itching for an RP with fighting game themes/whatever. We can make out anything in terms of lore/plot, but I kind of want this to be a journey type thing where the main characters go around beating up other martial artists for reasons.

I like the sound of your fighting game proposal. I'm gonna go ahead and arrogantly spout out that I think I'm actually a fountain of ideas myself and accordingly believe that I could keep things interesting.

But I don't presently use Skype or Discord and I'm unlikely to on account of the fact I have a limited amount of room for further applications and browser based Skype on mobile looks inconvenient. I do everything from my cell phone, but I try not to let it show or use it as an excuse to do less among the forum users here. Is the lack of external communications a deal breaker?

I have two ideas that I want to try it out with you. Enhance & Consequences.

Sci-fi Plot - Enhance - Inspired by Deus Ex

Since the 20th century, mankind has made advancements in technology from medicines and televisions to nuclear weapons and long-range missiles. Before the 21st century, the world's best scientists and researchers met in Paris to discuss the possibility of human augmentation. Plastic surgery and implants were becoming more common as the century was ending. The conference discussed the ethical and moral quandaries of human augmentation only being made available to wealthy, developed countries. It also discussed the “need” and “want” in human augmentation, and the potential for human augmentation over the next century. After the discussions, The Code of Ethics on Human Augmentation was shown to the world.

The code created standards for a form of technology that is still in its infancy. World leaders at the time were too forced on the second major period of globalization. And scientist became too focus on the global warming to care about augmentation. The world soon forgot about the code until the year 2025.

The entire world has changed for better or worst. The Digital Revolution is still going strong as holograms are becoming popular as a form of entertainment. The Middle East is still suffering from terror attacks and ISIL is still a problem in the world. More cities suffered from terror attacks from Portland to Tokyo. NATO–Russia relations are still strained because of the annexation of Crimea and several other issues between them. The gap between rich and poor nations is getting worse as third world countries are suffering. More countries have left the EU.

However, the world has advanced technologically and more countries are adopting social politics like same-sex marriage into their country. Then, augmentation started to become popular in the world. It started with making your ears look like an elf's and then advanced into prostheses. The world has witnessed something big as cyberware was becoming more common in the world. Many countries realize that Transhumanism was becoming more popular with the youth.

Russia and several Central European and Baltic State countries banned Transhumanism and cyberware among with augmentation. The citizen, that have augmentations, are facing discrimination and police brutality. These people that are augmented are now outcasts from their friends and family members as they live in separated districts and often don't talk and see normal people.

Our characters will be living in Budapest, Hungary. One of several nations that left the EU behind, Hungary is still a secondary power; but, they have improved since the Second World War. The country was the first to ban augmentations and started to discriminate against the agumented. Other countries, like Great Britain and Germany, weren't happy with them and requested that the United Nations investigate the country. But with the situation in both Africa and the Middle East getting worse, they didn't have the time to investigate at the moment. For now, Hungary and other countries are allowed to discriminate.

Either we are both augmentations or one of us is just an average human. But, we will start the roleplay off by the laws that Hungary has approved being in effect. Meaning that we or one of us will be dragged off towards one of the newly built districts in Budapest. We will live in a country that doesn't treat people with augmentations with any respect at all. This roleplay will also involve some mature themes since I am now eighteen years old. And we will have to wait until the United Nations finally responds to the situation in these countries.

Modern Age - Consequences - Influenced by Homefront: The Revolution

Our mistake was believing that we could win this revolution and finally be free. That way of thinking cost us good people and resources, but we were winning it. City after city fought against the Chinese invaders as the message of hope spread all over west of old America. We were doing so well as several high ranking Chinese military officials were killed in the matter of months. Until we were ambushed. Our leader among with several important members died during the ambush. Everyone knew that there were going to be consequences, but we didn't expect this to happen.

My name's Nightrunner. Friends call me Night or NR, I'm seventeen years old and hail from Indiana, USA. I graduated High School early and I'm looking for a job. I've been on the Guild quite a while, somewhere around four years or so. The actual quality of my work here has gone up and down more often than a basketball, but I'd like to both improve my reputation here and generally have more fun than I've been having. You may have seen me from time to time in Lord Wraith's games, perhaps Blacksam's too.

I also write for advanced more than anything else. Just a few notes on my writing style. I'm heavily influenced by comic books. Sometimes I've come to think of the way I write when I'm most effective as a non-illustrated student of Frank Miller and Chris Claremont. So I imagine my prose can probably get a bit purple at times. One thing I'm working on is providing further perspective into the minds of characters.

This is not a suggestion, but I think it would be heavily amusing to see the martial artists fighting their way through the characters in your Baybridge universe (which I've looked at joining more than once). I have no idea why, but the vision that burst directly into my mind upon reading your concept was a space opera/space fantasy setting.

@Mr Allen J I have a few Sci-Fi roleplay ideas:

Maybe playing as some Resistance characters from Half-Life 2? If not, maybe a post-apocalyptic theme that is sort of similar to HL2.

If not, possibly The Maze Runner. (The books are great, almost done with the first book.)

If not then, possibly an Overwatch inspired RP, a Baybridge universe RP, or maybe some sort of sci-fi war themed.

And I thought I'd never find an Rper sharing the same standards as I do. I'm 21 as well and thank goodness finally, 3-D characters which I love making, majority of the RP I joined dies and there's rarely development when things die out. I like it when it's a reasonable pace to accumulate progression.

Academy 218 really strike me hard, like hard as a can.

The name is Haru. Genres preferred are Sci-Fi, Mystery, anything magical and action, action that makes sense.

Character Choices: Whenever I make an OC. I'd usually pick a realist and blends well the the rival archetype. I do play vast persona but hey I got the knack of torturing my characters as long as it is reasonable.

Story of Choice: I'm cool with brainstorming new ideas and create an original story like my RP Colors. I admit, rarely is anything original in our era. The main point is, it's fun creating original stories because it is challenging and tests our capacity as a writer.

I humbly admit I am a sucker for Flash Comics and is biased for Eobard Thawne, yeah my fav RF and fandom wise, I know a lot of anime/manga but when it comes to Naruto, I'm a sucker for Uchihas except Obito, I praise em' for their hax lol but I'm not an Uchiha fanboy. I saw you participated in a lot of metahuman RPs before I think, no wonder Allen sounds so familiar. If you're the Allen indeed then I would be the Reverse xD

Ability Choices: I'm a big fan of abstractness and can make any ability creative. E.g ice that freezes thoughts.

What can I say? I am so so so so so so so so so so so so delighted to see another player with such standards.
