Even though a large part of the Earth's population has been wiped out, the sea levels have risen due to the consequence of the antartic icecap melting, and the fact that seasons have ceased to exist, civilization endures. Here, in Tokyo-3, rests the headquarters of the international organization known as NERV, and you have been chosen among many to be recruited into its ranks. You are perhaps, one of the pilots. Or maybe, you are part of the staff that ensures that such organization works smoothly.
NERV's mission consists in employing the top secret weapon, the artificial human Evangelion (EVA) to battle the mysterious harbingers of destruction, known as Angels. It is believed that the Angels have caused the Second Impact - the meteorite impact is just the cover story. The pilots of Evangelion, called Children, are the only ones who can operate the bio-organic weapon, via a process called Synchronization. The Marduk institute provides the Children candidates. The number of these candidates, as well as that of EVAs is rather limited.
Currently, the HQ possess the units 00 and 01.
NERV-1 (Massachussets) may provide unit 03 upon formal request.
NERV-2 (Nevada) may provided Unit 04 upon formal request.
NERV-3 (Germany) may provide Unit 02 upon formal request.
Other NERV branches might be contacted upon demand.

Welcome to ... you guessed it, It's an Evangelion RP! With your healthy dose of psychological quirks, plotting, some giant sized fights and more plotting. In order to accomodate the probably not small amount of pilot submissions, I shall warp the canon accordingly. For starters, the staff members will still exist (Gendo does have a plan for everything), but the pilots... will be filled by the player characters. I will also accept support characters, as long as you understand that you probably will be doing other things than punching the funny looking giant monster thing in the face.
