"The shadow is the slayer of innocence."

___________________________________________________________________________

So then, I have been inspired to write a low-fantasy Roleplay centered around an assassin and their perilous, bloody story.

Unfortunately, I have a list of different premises and story lines, and I am unable to choose which one I like the best.
More importantly, I can't decide which one might be the most appealing to my fellow writers and would draw their interest and attention.

So, I have decided to list them below separately, bear in mind that I am totally open to any one of these, so if any of them interest you, then please make your decision and contact me, preferably through PM.

There are three separate story lines to choose from.

Please bear in mind that what you see below is only very basic descriptions of each.
I will have a more in-depth rundown and a deep plot-line description for when I am contacted.

I also have maps, lore, and basic information about the world and setting, which I will disclose to those who contact me and convey their interest.

So then, let's have a look below, eh?

__________________________________________________________________

INNOCENCE LOST

ROGUE

VENGEANCE FROM THE ASHES

So then, there you have it, the three separate stories centered around this assassin themed Roleplay.

Hopefully one of these catches some fancy, as I am very eager to hop into any one of these.

By the way, please remember that there is more detail and information already prepared, from maps to currency to races and so forth.
I did not include any of that in this thread so to keep from bogging it down and diverting attention from the primary setting.
Do not worry, everything is ready and waiting, all you have to do is contact me if your interested and we can proceed forth with character creation and so forth.

I await contently yet eagerly!

(I cancelled this because I posted this check and the minute I looked at it after posting I thought "What a pile of $£\+.)

Apologies for cluttering the Interest Check thread, chaps.

@Mystery Bard Eh, for what it was worth I was considering to voice my interest but was too busy to sit down in order to write out a decent PM.

Sorta disappointed you cancelled it but it’s also your choice to make, obviously.

Sorry about that @Damiann47, I had actually planned on seeing it through and pursuing this.

But as I said, I literally looked at this the minute it successfully posted and thought to myself, There is no way that this will draw attention, scratch.

@Mystery Bard Well if that's your metric then you're going to have a bad time. My stuff has sat for days before getting anything satisfactory. For what its worth this looked pretty interesting too, but its not my decision to pull the plug.

Crappy metric. It can take days for legitimate attention to be gained, regardless of the quality of the check.

It wasn't my cup of tea, too much assassin stuff (and in my experience, too many shitty metagaming/godmodding assassins that I remember), but it was hardly something to immediately dump. That's a common, and usually fatal mistake on the guild. No patience, no roleplay.

Interest Checks are a numbers game. If a hundred people look at your rp and only ten people end up applying, you can consider it a success. If you gave up on this rp, then it's not because people didn't have faith in it, but more likely you yourself didn't have faith in it.

@Mystery Bard

Why would you think you did a bad job anyway? I certainly like the look of it.

I honestly don't know @rush99999, I just looked at it after about two minutes of posting it and felt instant regret.

Seems I need to work on my self-confidence and positivity. :\

I would say a lot of it has to do with confidence. We're the harshest critics of ourselves. I've always been rather unconfident with my writing regardless of what the general consensus is. This isn't a cure-all, but usually what I do in cases such as these is submit, stop worrying, and just allow it to rest there in the open. Only editing if necessary. If I didnt, I don't think I would've gotten into RPing again.

Even if it does turn into something regretful, then at least you'd get constructive criticism to help in the future. Spill yourself. Don't think. Take in note responses/reactions.

With that being said, I hope you salvage these ideas and find a partner.
