Outfit: Selene wears an ankle length white gown, with gold trimmings and a few clear gemstones implanted in the bust of the dress and along the silver belt. The sleeves are wrist length, and are tight along her upper arms, and grow gapingly wider towards her wrists. The bust has a deep plunge that goes just below the bust. But the cut is thin, so her breasts are covered on both sides. She wears white flats with a similar trim. Around her forehead she wears an ornate and intricate silver forehead tiara, with a single clear crystal in the center.

Jewelry/Accessories: On her left wrist she wears a thick, solid black bracelet, on her left a similar bracelet but white. A similar bracelet is also around her ankles. But these are mainly covered by her long dress and sleeves. She wears a short chain, silver locket necklace, with an Alicorn engraved on it.

Mythic Abilities:

  • Flight - With her large wings, Selene can take flight. But the longest she has been able to fly without stopping was 5 hours. After that it becomes extremely physically exhausting.
  • Healing - With a gentle touch, Selene can heal small wounds, like cuts and bruises, very quickly. Larger, deeper, and more serious injuries can be healed, but with significantly more time. She can also self heal by going unconscious.
  • Knowldege Absoption - With consent from another being or creature, Selene is able to absorb thoughts and knowledge from other people by resting her horn to their forehead for an extended period of time. After the connection breaks, most of the knowledge is lost, and usually only key details are remembered.
  • Zoolingualism - The ability to communicate with other animals.

Human Magic:

  • Floating - Rather than flying around, in human form Selene can float above the floor by an inch or two. Just like flying, she can only do this for about 5 hours before it becomes mentally exhausting.
  • Healing - She can still heal wounds with a gentle touch of her hand, but she will tightly wrap the wound first, as to not allow people to see that she caused it to heal fast. This makes an illusion to humans that they are just "quick healers".
  • Literary Absorption - Rather than being able to absorb other's thoughts and knowledge, holding her hand on a book allows for the same ability. Most of the knowledge in the end is lost, but key details of the book are remembered.
  • Zoolingualism - Selene is still able to communicate with animals, but she has to be more careful not to be noticed by humans, who will definitely have suspicions.

Backstory: The Lunalis household has had a very unfortunate run of luck for several years. Though try as they do to earn favor with the Emperor, their family has never been able to earn enough luck to truly allow them to become more powerful, successful, or rich. The Baron household of Lunalis has had this ranking for thousands of years, and it has only caused them to become more distant from the other nobilities. Selene Lunalis was a born optimist, unlike the rest of her family. Selene could see the potential that her family had to become greater and more powerful. A true blessing to the family as she would be the one of age to be sent to The Emperor's Banquet. It rests solely on Selene's shoulder to turn her house's luck around for the next 500 years.

[*]Xavier Lunalis - Selene's older brother. He is more levelheaded than his younger sister, patient, and calculating. He is also an Alicorn and posses the same abilities as his sister. His main purpose in accompanying his sister is to make sure that she is safe, as he is protective. Yet at the same time, tries to keep it unknown to others of his relationship with Serene.
[*]Allison Jacobson - Personal Handmaid, servant, and subsequent good friend of Serene. She has been a personal right-hand woman to Selene since they were both young girls.

Bio:
Let's cut the crap and get straight to the point. Xavier comes from a well off family, and he isn't afraid to flaunt it. However as much as his parents are upstanding citizens, Xavier couldn't be more of a polar opposite. Forget brunch socials, well-mannered get togethers, and humble living. No, Xavier lives for the adrenaline of life. Xavier has gotten in trouble with the law quite a few times- particular with speeding, reckless driving, and grand theft auto. However, his family has always been able to buy him out of his crimes. Cool and collected, Xavier is ready for his soon approaching 18th birthday to break away from his family.

Much against his will, his parents send him away to Camp Clear Spring in the hopes that it will set him straight. Because nature does that, right? Maybe he needed the natural pine air to clear out the mugginess of city life, that was obviously corrupting him. Because that is what is wrong with him, right? Not his family.
