Jade Schneider

The girl wasn't sure what was going on with everything. It sounded like they were saving more people, but before she could ask what was going on Jade was once more distracted by a familiar voice approaching. "Jade, I want to tell you about the camp you're going to. I used to go there myself before I died." The voice whispered in her ear, then launched into regaling the girl with all sorts of stories about the camp, the recent battles, and heroes. One by the name of Percy Jackson, and the events that go on around the camp. Stories that occupied her mind and kept her from moving much from the chariot while the others got onto the chariot.

The ideas of what could happen at the camp raced through her mind now. Sure, the whole thing about the Earth itself being some evil goddess that tried to kill them all was pretty scary. Yet at the same time... the concept of magic, like real magic was possibly the coolest thing that the young girl even conceive of in that moment. The girl wondered if she could regain her sight... or fly! Maybe she could cast fireball or shout 'You shall not pass!' at big monsters and blow up stuff to stop them. The blind girl practically was bouncing in the chariot in anticipation for the camp.

Mary rolled her eyes slightly at Ezekiel, did he really just feel the need to repeat what Kirsten had said? Then there was also the fact that Leda was deciding to be a bit picky about what people were on her chariot. "Honestly snail, you really felt the need to kind of repeat what literally was already said?" she said towards Ezekiel, referring to him by the slow creature since he had been the slow one before. Maybe he was also a little slow on catching things? That might explain why he didn't seem to pay attention to what Kirsten had said.

"Anyway, all aboard and let's get out of here, honestly this place just became really boring without monsters running around," she said with a bit of a smile towards the group who hadn't known that they were demi-gods yet. That certainly was going to be a lot of fun, and she got back into her chariot, waiting to see if any of the group would follow along, and she just waited. Deciding it was best to wait for someone else to take off before following along after them.

Mona didn't need to be told twice. She got on one of the chariots provided as she waited for their journey to this camp. Granted, she was still not sure of the whole camp thing, but if it provided answers she would go there. With the threat neutralized, she was able to actually see everything. Nothing surprised her anymore after being chased by literal monsters, but still...chariots?

Did that mean this camp followed Ye Olde Times? No cell phones and the like? You'd think the gods would update as time went on. They had the power to do so, but perhaps for once in her life she could not judge before she saw for herself. Her questions having already been asked by Athanasia, she settled herself into the chariot. "It's going to be one of those days."

@Kirah Chiron gave Andy a friendly smile as she started to ask some questions about Camp Half-Blood, as he gestured towards a chair that was on the porch of the Big House. "One of your parents is a Greek god or goddess, which one I am unsure but I am sure that they will claim you at some point during the day." Chiron said as he looked over his shoulder as he noticed Dionysus coming out of the room wearing a very bright purple colored Hawaiian shirt. He noticed Andy there seeing another kid there and shook his head ever so slightly another new kid for him to deal with. "Oh yay another fresh kid here to watch over." Mr. D said as he plopped himself down onto the chair and had what looked to be a glass of wine and tried to pour himself a glass only for it to suddenly turn into coke. He then turned to look over at Andy when she asked about the camp.

"The tree that you saw coming in and on the branches is the Golden Fleece it protects the camp from monsters, yadda yadda, you wont have to worry about monsters coming in." Mr. D answered, as Chiron shook his head slightly and sighed. "This is Dionysus, he is the director of Camp Half-Blood, and as for the shirts that is the camp's t-shirt if you choose to wear it while here. As for what Half-Blood means, it is what you are part human part demigod." Chiron said.

Kristin took the time to look over at Zeke and shook her head slightly when she answered the question for the noobies, as well as Leda only allowing the cool people onto her chariot. Hedge made his way and climbed up onto her own chariot along with the blind girl who was there and looked down at her for a moment. "Are you okay?" Kristin asked Jade as everyone started to get into their respective chariots, she waited a little bit as the pale girl started to ask a lot of questions. "The pegasi help fly as well as the chariots." Kristin answered the girl as she got onto Zeke's as well as Arthur who got onto his and smirked slightly.

"The Snail gets to do the most babysitting." She said jokingly as she had enough people on her own now as three could ride on at a time, as she looked around. "Alright now time to go back home." Kristin said as she grabbed the reins of her chariot and made them move and then a few seconds later she was up into the air she started to move and get some distance between them and the school now glad that there wouldn't be any monsters to deal with now.

Kiera looked towards Leda seeing as two of them were full now at this point and started to make her way over towards the rainbow girl's chariot and climbed up onto it. "I guess i'll be hitching a ride with you." Kiera said as she listened to Zeke as he started to go over what the other blonde girl said. It was a lot of the information to go through she wasn't sure who her father was and she really did want to know who he was now. She looked at Leda the sword necklace thing was actually pretty cool and she was pretty curious about it as well seeing the blonde girl had her own something similar.

"So how long have you been at this camp?" Kiera asked her as Leda moved the chariot now as well and started to match Kristin's now as well seeing that they were now high up in the air. She held onto the sides as tightly as she could she wasn't expecting it to be flying or even being pulled by a flying horse either which was really weird.

Andy

Location:The Big House

Andy was following Chiron even though she thought it sounded absolutely mental. Then the large man with the Hawaiian shirt started talking. Andy had spent so much time on the streets she knew right away that Dionysus did not like her. She shot him a dirty look annoyed at his tone, he didn't know anything about her.

In an attempt to ignore Dionysus Andy turned to Chiron and said "I don't have any other clothes then what I'm wearing, so I guess I'll have to wear the orange shirts if I stay." She added the last bit because if she was honest the idea of staying here wasn't too appealing, especially with a rude camp director. There had to be somewhere else she could go, even if it was under a dead tree in the woods. "When will the other new campers be here?"

Her mind turned to who her godly parent could be. She didn't even know what the options were. "Another question. I don't know anything about the Greek gods. Who are they? Though I guess you could wait until the others get here so you don't have to explain it more than once in case some of them don't know." She really hoped that some of them wouldn't know so she didn't feel dumb. She couldn't be alone in not knowing right?

Arthur Stanford

Hopping into the chariot with Zek, he couldn't help but rub his temples as Athanasia hopped into questioning. He cleared his throat and said after her," Arthur Stanford, co-president of the hell raising committee." He said, coyly smiling at his friend. He wouldn't be bombarding them with any questions, though he was full of them. Get to safety, then he could start to ask some clarifying questions. Granted, he may need a few less of those in light of the answers to Athanasia's questions.

He looked at the chariot in a bit of surprise. He got the theming for sure, but he couldn't help but think that there must be more practical design choices than those invented thousands of years ago. He supposed he wasn't to judge though, he was certainly in the dark on quite a few things, between the existence of gods and flying horses. Smiling at Athanasia, he made a calm down motion with his hands, "Let's get to safety first, then we can ask every question we can think of." He wouldn't feel safe and happy until they were far away from this prison of a school.

Jade Schneider

Jade was about to ask what was going on with the whole situation when she heard the explanation of Pegasi, and her head snapped in the direction of Kristin. "Wait. Pegasi, like flying horses? Are we gon-" She started before the chariot jolted forward and took to the air. The blind girl let out a loud yelp of panic as her grip on the chariot turned white-knuckle. She was terrified of falling out of this damn thing before they reached the camp they were heading towards. Why the hell did this thing not have any seatbelts!? Somebody could fall out and hurt themselves, or worse! Jade frantically thought about all the bad ways that this ride could turn out in the opening moments of their flight. She wasn't ready to die by falling out of a thing dragged by flying horses yet! That was simply insane!

The girl's fears quieted in a few moments after she began to think them, however. The wind roaring in her ears seemed almost calming as she realized that she wasn't rocketing out the back of whatever the hell she was standing upon. She could feel the cold air against her face, the scents carried upon the wind tickling her nose. It was an interesting feeling to be flying through the air like this, something the blind girl wasn't used to quite yet. Sure, in Vegas they had those roller coasters on top of the Stratosphere that she went on with her friends but this... this was something else entirely. She was certainly having any doubts in her mind about the camp or this whole Greek Gods thing erased every second that they were flying along.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot ---> Traveling back to Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel stared at the blonde headed child who asked about ten questions before even taking a breath. He wondered how upset Chiron would be if they showed up one kid short.
”Sorry, we didn’t show up on time… She fell out of the chariot… We were being chased…” All these thoughts Ezekiel kept to himself as he climbed into his chariot. He snapped his head to Marygold and glared when she ridiculed him.
”Honestly? I repeated one thing. She said we were children of gods, never mentioned that they were as well like I did. Last I checked, I was put in charge so excuse me if I see fit to take back control, even though little Miss. Perfect thinks she can run things,” Ezekiel snapped.
He looked at the other child who hopped on board, calling himself co-captain of the hell-raising club. Honestly, did Ezekiel look like he liked kids? Rolling his eyes, he typed into the GPS for it to send them home before he clicked his tongue, catching the attention of the Pegasi.
”Please hold all of your questions until the end of the tour,” Ezekiel said, his voice sounding very much like that of an automated tour guide. He clicked his tongue again and the Pegasi took off, launching quickly into the air and Ezekiel wasted no time getting back to camp.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Parking lot

Athanasia gave a wide smile though her dark eyes glittered with a worrisome intent for those who knew her. Trouble was brewing in the little girl's mind and it would not bode well for those that it was meant for. "Oh, la! Now that is a challenge Arthur dear. How many questions can I come up with on a pegasus-" She frowned slightly.[cokor=SlateBlue]"What is the plural for pegasus? Pegasis? Pegasuses? Pegaponies?"[/color] It had never come up and if her mother had mentioned it Athanasia had quite forgotten.

But her gaze flashed on her to Kristin and Mary, narrowing slightly. "I'm a child yes, but I am not a baby. Nor do I require some babysitter." The pale girl smiled sweetly. "I can understand that may get confusing with fighting monsters all the time. But I am ten, a bit over the age of needing a sitter." Yes! Athanasia was perfectly capable to watch herself. That her mother left her with a bit of help was beside the point! They were really only there for when she couldn't reach things. Maybe not, but it was the story she was sticking to! Baby indeed! She was ten! Ten!

"Honestly, lighten up a bit would you? Just teasing a bit, though it kind of wasn't necessary to repeat info unless asked... And I'm fairly certain she was just trying to be helpful when it came to answering the question. You weren't acting like much of a leader, when it came to the fighting you didn't even give suggestions for what others could do! She did, honestly if you want to be a leader you better start acting like you can be one, otherwise no one will listen to you," Mary responded to Ezekiel. In her mind it was a bit ridiculous to even be having this sort of conversation right now.

Once she saw that everyone else was taking off, and taking a quick glance around to check and make sure that they weren't leaving anyone behind, she took hold of the reins on her chariot and took off into the air. At least she wasn't the one who had to show the newbies around camp, that fell to their oh so fearless leader the snail. He had lost the race to get to the school, and if he tried to pass it off to one of them he so was going to get it. Hopefully they got back to camp soon, she didn't think she'd be able to stand being stuck in one place with Ezekiel any longer.

Leda Storm

Location: Flying!

The little girl was eagerly chatting away and Leda couldn't help but smirk slightly that she had chosen Zeke's chariot. She had a feeling that Zeke had just gained a little sister - though the girl didn't strike her as a child of Apollo. If anything, she seemed like a kid of Hermes. The entire Hell Raising Committing? Yeah, that had Cabin Eleven written all over it. She snickered a little bit as Mary continued the piling on on Zeke. Did Leda feel for him? Yeah, it had to suck, everyone calling him names. But did she actually care? Not really. There was a difference between being empathetic and being compassionate.

The blonde girl with the sarcastic quips? Leda liked her. The new ginger came and got into her chariot, which Leda took as a sign that either 1) ginger thought she was cool or 2) she actually was cool. Sadly, it was more likely the former but Leda could work with that. Controlling the pegasi and trying to get their chariot to go fast, she glanced back at her companion as she asked how long she had been at camp for. "Three years," the Brit told the ginger with a slight smile. "My name's Leda. Ley-duh. Daughter of Iris - the Rainbow Goddess. So yeah, Pride is kinda my jam," she had emphasized her name's pronunciation, knowing that the Americans tended to try to say Lee-duh instead.

@Kirah Chiron gave Dionysus a slightly annoyed look and shook his head slightly before turning his attention back over towards Andy seeing the dirty look that she had given him. "We can provide you more clothes if you wish, we do have a camp store if you ever wish to buy anything." Chiron said as he looked down at his watch for a moment, it had been a good hour or so since they all had left to retrieve the other new campers. "They should be back anytime now." He answered her as Dionysus turned and gave Andy the coke, he didn't like the stuff obviously as he shook his head mumbling something about Zeus.

Chiron smiled, he didn't mind answering a little bit of her questions, and wanted to help her as well. "Well there are twenty one Greek gods and goddesses, one of them being our lovely camp director here. Each one of them controls a certain aspect of the world, and help shape the world. Each one of them has a cabin of their own here, which you will be shown once the others arrive and they can answer more of your questions." Chiron said, as he looked up at the sky as he noticed the chariots were all coming back now. "Looks like they are here now."

Kristin looked towards the really pale girl for a moment and shook her head slightly, she was ten years old and didn't really have training so to speak. So to her she still needed a babysitter of sorts now as she looked towards the kid named Arthur who introduced himself. He seemed to be a bit more mature than she was. He probably wouldn't need as much babysitting then Ash did as she looked between Marygold and Zeke and smirked slightly. He made her co-leader of this impromptu quest to save some hatchling little demigods.

"All I did was suggest a strategy is all nothing more." Kristin said, as she looked towards Jade as the blind girl held onto dear life, she of course wouldn't let her charge fall. "I got you don't worry." Kristin said, as she made sure that the girl was supported and then looked down and started to put in the GPS back home to Camp Half-Blood. "Alright old on tight now." Kristin said, as she hit the button and quickly flew back to Camp Half-blood.

"It's Kiera nice to meet you Rainbow Queen." Kiera said as she listened to some of the others, and then stopped for a moment as she could hear the horses talking to one another. But she quickly shook her head a little bit, she certainly wasn't going crazy and just chocked it up as stress from the crazy day.

Then she watched as one of the chariots zipped as fast as it could, and then a few seconds later Leda and Kiera's chariot were also over the camp now as well. She looked down seeing the area below them, she was pretty amazed seeing some of the buildings below she could pick up people there on the ground as well.

Andy

Location:The Big House

Andy took the coke from Dionysus, she sniffed at it a little confused for a moment. Knowing it had been wine originally, and that Dionysus seemed to not like her for some unknown reason. She took a careful sip. It had been a long time since she had had a cold (and not flat) soda, she didn't take another sip. Andy listened and nodded as Chiron explained about the gods a bit. There were potentially twenty-one parents, and she had no idea which she would want as a parent.

It hit her like a ton of bricks. She was going to have a real parent. Someone who was actually related to her. Someone who had left her to fend for herself for years. Her stomach twisted on the coke and growled loudly. She put her hand over it and apologized. Chiron was watching the chariots land. There was a large group of kids in them, even at this distance Andy could tell there looked like a couple of kids near her age. She couldn't be certain though.

Her heart started pounding. If she stayed here she could have friends. That made her nervous. She didn't know how to go about making friends, and if Andy was honest with herself she couldn't trust anyone here. Not yet. Too often she had gotten her hopes up that she had found a safe place and things had turned bad, because of that Andy was ready to run if need be. She was already making plans in the back of her mind.

Mona stood there, quietly taking in the fact they were on flying horse-led chariots escaping from a school that held Cyclops trying to kill them due to the fact they were the children of gods. She may have been labeled a punk, an outcast, and a general ner-do-well, but she thought all of this was pretty fricken' wicked.

"So is this camp like an actual summer camp or one of those posh ones where the bourgeois swim in pools of champagne and have their servants play capture the flag instead of them?" Either way, she wasn't looking forward to a summer camp experience, but she noticed the GPS so perhaps it wasn't all bad if modern technology was still used? Plus, god powers? Surely that meant some modicum of fun.

Jade Schneider

The girl continued with her death grip despite being reassured the whole ride that she would not fall off. Jade not being overly fond of falling through the air to an inevitable demise at meeting the ground. At some point, there was definitely a scream as they hit a particularly windy patch of air. Not that Jade would ever admit that it was she who screamed, her pride would only allow for so much. With all those thoughts in mind, however, there was also the fact that the feeling of the wind whipping past her face and flowing through her hair was pretty amazing. In a way, the girl wished that this would continue forever.

However, their ride did not last forever. Soon enough the chariot noises changed as they slowed from flying and she clearly felt them slowing down. The sounds of wind were replaced by the sounds of the wheels against the ground. Soon enough they came to a complete stop, and the girl took a slow step back out of the chariot. Unfolding her cane, she felt around to make sure she wasn't about to walk off a cliff or something before speaking in the general direction of the chariot. "Are we at that camp now? I don't really know where to go so if somebody could guide me that would be like super awesome." She asked in a polite tone, though it was fairly obvious that the girl was nervous about the whole situation.

Oh poor Ezekiel. All he had to do was politely decline Athanasia's request for comments, but no. he had to patronize, and insult her. That was the sort of behavior for which he could not stand. He simply smiled at Ezekiel, and said , "I believe it's Pegasi, Athanasia, though it couldn't hurt for you to run through all the possibilities." He said with a smirk. "Pegapeople?" He pondered. He didn't foresee the two of them getting along so well, but he was more than willing to give a second chance, if he apologized for his behavior.

He chuckled a bit, at Athanasia thinking she was too old for a babysitter. He wasn't going to correct her, but to say that he'd take her too seriously would be about as incorrect. He did want to know though, how long they'd be on this chariot. He glanced down at the ground below them, and smiled at the sight. This was something truly amazing. He cleared his throat, saying "So, what's our ETA?" as he took in the view.

”Seriously? I did give you an idea but you took Kristen’s idea anyways. Don’t take your lack of ability to follow anyone’s rules for it being piss poor leadership skills,” Ezekiel chimed in once more.
The pale, blonde haired girl was still going on with the questions. Apparently this one was going to be another, ‘we only listen to rules when we feel like it.’ Definitely Hermes cabin material.
”Five minutes,” Ezekiel replied to the other small child. Yes, he was going to have to chauffeur this group around camp so he may as well try to make it a bit more bearable. He wouldn't answer all of the annoying girls questions and that was either something she would have to get over and complain about or get someone else to answer her demands.
True to his word, they did arrive where they had taken off from inside camp a short five minutes later. Now to find Chiron. It would be best to introduce everyone to him first Ezekiel thought and then if he thought of someone better suited to play tour guide, all the better for Ezekiel.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot -> Camp Half-Blood

Flying in a chariot drawn by a set of pegasus was jaw dropping on it's own. Though Athanasia's mind was going a mile a minute trying to dredge up everything she knew about the Olympic Gods. Oh, she knew a thing or two with her mother being an archaeologist and all but it was blurry from her stint in Crystal Rivers'. Planning the downfall of the teachers had been much more pressing. Standing on tiptoes slightly to get a better view of the so called 'Camp Half-Blood' Athanasia's smile was slightly bitter. How many heads would she need to, figuratively, knock together over her name? It was much easier to be called 'Ash' than the proper name gifted to her by a mad researcher named Ryssa. But then again, her mother had named their cat Apollymi in honor of some goddess of destruction in one of the rare fantasy novels she was reading. So Athanasia would stick with the name she got and be glad it wasn't something worse.

Five minutes of discussing the proper term of multiple Pegasuses, and plotting half a dozen more variants of questions. Athanasia considered the others about her. The pale girl felt certain she could rely on Arthur and Kiera. While they were older than her she did feel a good deal of respect and warmth towards them. Perhaps Arthur a bit more than Kiera with the larger age gap between the girls. The Bow Boy however seemed to be a bit prickly. A fact that made her smile. Prickly was fine, it was a challenge and she would win him over eventually. "Oh la!" She beamed at Ezekiel. "You really shouldn't use such language, it's bad manners. Besides! We're here and I have so many questions." Her beaming smile became almost devilish as she winked and laughed cheerily. "Kiss, kiss." Challenge accepted were what those words meant. A verbal thumbs down, or challenge to whatever life threw at her.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda smirked slightly. "Rainbow Empress, actually," she corrected. Part of her had been tempted to go into the technicalities - expressing that if she were royal, her mother would be the Rainbow Queen, and that would make Leda then Her Royal Highness, Princess Leda, Duchess of Something. Maybe Duchess of Speed? She'd have to talk to one of her moms about this in order to get their input on the matter. Most of the kids at Camp Half-Blood were American and didn't really have much exposure to how titles worked in the Royal Family. And even then, it wouldn't matter too much - her mother was a goddess. Leda was practically guaranteed to never succeed her as the Rainbow Queen. However, Duchess of Speed was cool! Maybe she'd have to start introducing herself like that when fighting monsters, see if it caught on.

"Now if you look down in either direction, you'll see Camp Half-Blood. Located in gorgeous Long Island in New York, blah blah blah, blah blah blah..." Leda was snickering a bit. She knew that Keira likely would have been chuffed if she had given her more details, but she didn't feel like it. Mr. D and Chiron could handle that at the Big House when these demigods went through orientation. There was no reason to give Keira the same exact information twice. "Though I will give you one bit of advice, love - don't make friends with Zeke. He's an arse." She doubted that Keira would take the advice, but hey, it wasn't her fault if she didn't. She then started the landing preparation for the chariot.

@Kirah "We should go and meet them then." Chiron said, as he started to get up and started to wheel his way over towards the chariots and waved over for Andy to follow him as well. Dionysus shook his head and started to grumble mostly to himself having to deal with more brats now which was something that he really did not want to deal with now. "Well if you need me i'll be inside so i'm not swarmed with a bunch of new brats." Dionysus said, which Andy would get the feeling that it wasn't just her he didn't like now as well, as Mr. D walked into the Big House and closed the door behind himself. "Again I am really sorry about Mr. D he doesn't really care to much about having to be director for another couple of years." Chiron said towards Andy.

Once they were all down on the ground Kristin turned towards Jade for a moment and gave the girl a friendly smile and nodded over towards her. "Sure thing." She said noticing Jade's eyes and the cane she would have a really hard time getting around the camp as well Kristin watched as the other two chariots came for a landing now as well. She looked over at the others and then spotted Chiron as he started to wheel himself over towards the group. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood." Chiron said, as he looked over towards Desdemona asking about the camp and gave her a slight smile.

"It is a summer camp, but you can have the option to stay year round if you so choose to. I am Chiron the Camp Activities Director, and we provide you with training to help you out in the real world. As you have noticed at your school the monsters that were after you." Chiron said as he looked over towards Jade for a moment, he wasn't expecting no more than four but five was alright as well. Kristin then turned over towards the others. "Basically he helps train you all, along with the other campers here as well and if you are lucky you are chosen to go out on quests as well." Kristin said.

"Nice title then." Kiera said towards Leda and gave the girl a slight smile as she looked out at the camp, as the chariots started to come to a landing. She was really surprised to know that they were all now in Long Island, and just traveled what would have been twelve hours or so by car and now they were here in a fraction of that time. Kiera took a step off of the chariot looking over at Leda and then over towards Zeke. He seemed to be a bit annoyed and smirked slightly seeing that he was still dealing with Ash and Arthur as well and gave her a nod. "I think he will have his hands full with those two." Kiera said with a slight laugh.

Kiera then looked as she noticed a man wheeling himself over towards them, she raised an eyebrow towards him as he started to speak to them and answered Mona's question. Kiera then started to feel the ground shaking which made her stumble a little bit, as she noticed the ground starting to open up just before both Ash and Arthur as well. And five [/s]skeletons started to come out of the ground, and above both of their heads appeared Hades Symbol two of the skeletons walked over towards them and one gave a skull to Ash, (Chatters) and the other presented Arthur with a Stygian Iron dagger. (Add these to your inventories.) Then the skeletons disappeared into the ground once more.
