1st Sergeant Ogien saw the threat. He commanded the tanks within his vicinity to lock onto the target and hold its position. Meanwhile the TIE Defenders encroached the flying threat. It was evening now, and only the lights of their technology helped them. But they also had heat sensing radar systems. The bases would have the collected data on the planet and it's inner structures to help dissipate what is demonic and what is capable of being reserved.

The first squadron of TIE Defenders found the fastest moving black target and turned their spotlights on in the sky. "Holy!- It's a VAMPIRE!" verified a Lieutenant. "Assault Initiation Protocol: 0000111! Attack!" and the first 6 pilots opened fire upon the vampire tyrant.

He explodes into a cloud of smoke, letting the blasts fly though him without damaging him. "Interesting. I thought my kind had faded into myths and legends." He opens his hand, letting his palm fill with blood magic. "Too bad knowledge won't save you." He lashes out with his crimson power, and it latches onto anything with blood.

What Ogien saw through his binoculars didn't make sense. The vampire created something ... somehow... and then splayed it all over a TIE Defender. With it being a spaceship nothing happened, but because the shots fired were missed they didn't fire again. The one Defender tried to fly into the vampire itself. Whether it due to a blind smear on the spaceship or a tact itself he could not fathom. The vampire must be old Ogien thought, it's flaunting it's strengths by weaknesses.

A base opened fire within their immediate district. A hoard of undead started ravaging there. The Stormtroopers within the base were checking their perimeters. Other Stormtroopers headed outside to open fire with their blasters to get those tanks from being entirely overrun.

He chuckles, slamming into the ship hard enough to crack the windshield. The mass of undead don't mind getting shot, and keep marching forward, grabbing anyone they can, and either devouring them, or turning them into another undead. He digs his claws into the break in the glass, and it shatters. "Hello, fleshbag." He grins with razor sharp fangs.

The shots didn't stop or defeat the undead but they slowed them down. Some shots even de-limbed them and they fell to the ground unable to continue. Some sergeant, Sergeant Pizzaglow, coordinated his men to form a defensive barrier and aim at the undead's heads and legs. That gave them a straight and powerful shot that usually amounted to slowing them down quicker, give the troopers girth to improve their manueverments and have newer troopers blast from ontop of the base to have the one's on the ground relocate within the base and lock it down.

A Lieutenant Darkblue on the inside called to the Imperial Navy hovering near the planets orbit. He too, and with sufficient delegation from the forces within successfully got those Navy Destroyers/Dreadnoughts to target the vampire. With individual precision plasma shots the Navy would kill the vampire.

They also believed the undead could be quarantined while the vampire was distracted by the fighter pilots. So, the troopers would have to continue all the while loading their frigates to lift off and leave the providence, so the Dreadnoughts/Destroyers could do their duty.

The TIE Pilot got his torso ripped open and blood flooded out. There was a yell of helplessness and then he fell forward on his controls and the TIE Defender crashed down. The other TIE Defenders opened fire on the whole situation.

He laughs, and turns into smoke, which flies after the other ships. "Pathetic."

The female pilot opened fire at the vampire. The two pilots aft of her opened fire from above and from below her. The last two pilots flew high above them to charge their pulse torpedos. When the pilots strafed out to have a lateral assault the two up high would fire their pulse torpedos. Should they have enough time to charge in and fire their lasers they would- it'd depend on the other pilots and if they were going to charge their pulse torpedos. They could just return fire, assault at deadly speed, and numerous other plans. For now the first formation.

He swirls around the blasts, the lasers passing though his vapor of a body. He swirls around the nearest ship, and begins sabotaging the guidance and balance systems.

One of the pilots noticed how their shots had no effect while the vampire was amusing itself but when it wanted to do damage it had to be tangible otherwise it'd be a whole other effect, that could explains its necromantic powers. The pilot swooped dangerously close to the TIE Defender being havoced by the vampire, if the vampire had not been there it would of been a betrasive maneuver- as they were taught at the Naval Academy. A maneuver just such for an occasion of five against two.

He float out of the ship, and rips out a bunch of wires as he does. "My bad." He laughs, and tears half the wing off the gutted ship, then begins swirling into a ball of darkness.

The pilots swerved out of the way for conjuction of the other pilots to prime their pulse torpedos as two of the other pilots fire their already charged pulse torpedos. Regardless if the vampire phases through the torpedos they are locked to follow his trail- perhaps the vampire needs to solidify itself to have a single thought, it's dead after all... So they will follow to no end. The pilots chose to fly in formations one hundred feet at a time while they pay attention to the demonics on the radar (the planet's infrastructure just came online. The giant space ships above can fire at any moment now. It was just a tyrant vampire; killed everything for themselves. The planet was worthless to the Empire) all the while taking note of the distance, speed, precision, aerodynamics(if they were that smart), and other key components to their survival by learning from the vampire and it's strife from the pulse torpedos.

ON THE GROUND: The enemy undead kept devastatingly mass up out of the ground. It must of been the entire planet's former occupants. Some were freakishly fast as they were former vampires themselves, but they lacked the necrotic spirits they once had having fallen to the tyrant. Some bases were over run by complete wreck-through by those undead Undead, mindlessly, corruptly & primevally overpowerfully. Survival wasn't guaranteed anymore with the falling of the frigates to those undead Undead. Troopers had to don jetpacks to fly away, but in legions for the undead Undead could jump/fly fiendishly for unspeakable maruading pursuit of that living flesh.

One legion managed to get by and escape from the planet, the remainder are caught between fighting the ghouls & fiends on jetpack/w blasters together losing cohersion to manage to get themselves onto evacuation ships; as more and more frigates went down for getting closer To the jetpack legions... the undead were just too freakish... the random jumps/flights of the brainless enemies usually found a frigate 7/10% of the time. They would claw their way through to the otherside of it's trajectory, while the weaker ones would get stuck in the frigates surprising the crews and creating hell.

But with there being 10 Dreadnoughts and 5 Destroyers in space hovering over the planet there're nearly 300 TIE Fighters/Defenders/Interceptors flying and fighting the planets necromance.

He smuggles himself into one of the returning ships, leaving the countless undead to distract them until it's too late to stop him.

It was obvious what happened to the vampire because of the mandated scanning of the planet. It's glyph was the only difference on the radars, must come with having the planet become the way it did because of the vampire itself... So the Dreadnoughts commanded the Destroyers to bombard the planets evacuation procedure.

The ship that had the vampire was decimated.

He watches the sips around him explode, and he ditches the ship, flying out and around the explosions. "You. Cannot kill me. I'm already dead!"
