In seriousness, your character does not need to have a power to cover every eventuality; we're working as a team after all.

Also, for allocating powers 12-13 "dots" is about normal for an average, perhaps inexperienced Nova. Power also increases exponentially with dots, not linearly, so keep that in mind.

It's not so much a need to have a skill for every occasion so much as I'd like a character who'd have creative applications open to her. I mean, sure being able to perceive things nobody else could come in handy, but it runs the danger of her fights or situations being more limited. Which has happened to me before.

I'll get working on a CS template.

The "dots" thing basically works like this. Pick the powers you want, add a description of about what they do for your character, and then you're going to allocate 1-5 dots in each power you picked. Each dot represents basically just a level of mechanical commitment to that power, and every successive dot makes that power one order of magnitude stronger. It's meant to be an at-a-glance way of measuring the strength of your character's abilities.

3: This actually will cut down your potential for gaining Flux considerably, but will also gimp your character somewhat. Quantum Powers are the most powertful expressions of your characters' abilities. Additionally, if you never "max out" your powers by overclocking them with Quantum, they will never get stronger. Your powers are like muscles, for them to become stronger you have to strain them.

4: You can start with some low and mid-level mutations, but power lock is a high-level transformation. Once you reach that point, the train has kind of gone off the rails for retaining anything resembling a human appearance or mindset.

Nova Powers: List each power, give a description of how it looks/functions, and give me how many dots your character has in that power from 1 to 5. An inexperienced nova would have 6-7 dots, an average Nova would have 12-13, and an experienced Nova would have 14-15. The highest dot rating among your powers will become your Quantum Rating, essentially your overall power ceiling. List any Nova or Quantum technology your character has created/possessed here in terms of what powers it replicates. Also be sure to list any transformations that affect your powers here.

Following her eruption, Olga has gained a remarkable awareness. She doesn't quite understand it, but the quantum energies that surge through her have pushed her senses well beyond those of a baseline human and she reacts with an alarming speed.

Finally, she can become immaterial, leaving her body in a quantum phase that does not interact with matter or energy at all.

Short Backstory
Trent's life was pretty mundane up until his Eruption. He found a job he enjoyed enough to stick with in being a tire monkey at a local tire shop. Changing, repairing and, checking tires was pretty mundane work but that was good enough for Trent, he never had any delusions of grandeur. His life would have continued on that way probably if a disgruntled customer hadn't tried to run Trent down with their car after feeling the price for the work done was too much.

Trent's eruption triggered right as he struck the ground, he body bending to odd angle and degrees but Trent himself feeling very little pain. When he got back to his feet, Trent found his body was now completely made of rubber. After the initial shock wore off, Trent got back to work. However, with his new abilities Trent's begun to get ideas. Out there ideas of using his powers to do good for his community and maybe, just maybe, become famous from it.

Personality: Trent has no mental transformations from his eruption except maybe a boost in confidence. Tread-Head is about as normal as they come aside from his abilities but after his eruption, Trent figures he might be able to make it big as a local celebrity slash hero. He isn't too cocky but he definetely has confidence in his abilities.

Nova Identity: About the only facet of Trent that's kept a secret is his name and even then it's not hard to figure out. Trent doesn't have much going on in his personal life and didn't really want the stress of a alter-ego. Tread-Head is a pretty open book who's costume consists of nothing but a pair of jeans and a belt (shorts if it's really warm out).

I think for locals, a stand-in for New York City would be nice. The skyscrapers, slums, proximity to the sea, and rural areas would make for a lot of possiblities .

Just a bit of warning on my end, I've completely burnt myself out on writing and I'm taking a bit of a hiatus from the site. Hopefully won't be too long and I'll be back in action as the game starts but I figured I'd warn ya just in case I'm not up for it by then.
