There's gotta be at least one of you who also likes obscure metal, c'mon...
That middle album had its moments. And I liked the band name/album cover of the third.
Another one Spotify found for me. I don't know, I listened to a bunch of newer stuff today. But it seemed like no one could write a decent hook, or sing like they cared. And a decent vocalist can easily heighten & make up for an average song. Even if he unnecessarily brags in it too.
Voices can certainly be an acquired taste. (And be better served for different genres.)
I admittedly tend to prefer faster tempos and shorter songs. Unless the vocals or lyrics can make up for them.
Because I've been spoiled by Progressive and Avant-Garde metal bands, that make use of their songs longer running time. So when I see an album of 10 minute songs, I worry how long it will keep my attention.
So for instance, I love the riffage going on in the Restless Spirit album. But I can only imagine how much more I'd like it, with harsher/stronger vocals backing it up.
