Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

Bio

"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

One Night in Hell Club, Bar area.

Day 1 (Arc 2): Around 7pm

"Apparently, being a bit more aggressive was the right choice..." Corinna thought to herself with a provocative smirk on her face as she saw Rich approaching the dim lit table she was sitting on with her drink.

While Rich's nervousness and hesitation surprised her a bit on the beginning, she quickly took a hold of the situation. It was highly improbable that he would give up on her so easily, especially due to the way he was looking at her while she talked. While there was a probability that her aggressive approach could maybe frighten him enough so he wouldn't follow her, it was a risk worth taking. Hesitating so much as he was, being aggressive was maybe the course of action with the most chances of making him follow her. Men were so simple to understand when in front of a beautiful woman...

As he approached her, Corinna looked at him with a provocative smirk, gently tapping on the spot right besides her on the couch she was sitting on.

"I wonder what made you change your mind... Even after I warned you that I am a cruel woman..." She said, waiting for him to sit down near her.

"Does danger.... excites you?" Corinna asked, looking to him with an intense stare, watching every reaction, every movement he made, every breath he took.

"Let's see how you taste... Come, don't be shy..." Corinna said with a mischievous smirk as she leaned on the couch, gently touching his cheek with her hand, slowly pulling him towards her.

Bast Ragoczy

Arriving on the shrine-town, Bast couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow. Everything was related to their gods... Pink and red were the colors that dominated the city. Wherever he looked, he could find statues of cupids & etc.
For Bast, all that was a bit exaggerated, but when he looked at Eilidh and saw that she was enjoying the atmosphere, he couldn't help but to give a discreet smile.

"I guess I can tolerate it for a while..." he thought to himself smiling kindly.

Another thing that caught his attention was that there were mostly humans on the street, until now, he didn't see one monster. By the way the people welcomed both him and Eilidh with open arms, even her being a monster, Bast presumed that should have other monsters in the town, albeit it seemed that monsters were rare on those parts.

Ironically, as soon as he thought about that, a beautiful voice called them. It came from a dark skinned Gandharva, asking them if they were from the guild and if they knew Arletta.

Hearing a companion's name there was rather surprising, but Bast was more interested on what the gandharva said just after that.

"I do respect your decision, Miss Gina. I agree with Eilidh, it is a kind decision... To protect your friend, but if you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by 'issues'?" Bast asked, curious.

"If there is something to do with violence in general...is understandable. This palce seems to be a very calm and pacific town. Bandits doesn't seem to be a rather common problem around here, am I right? Otherwise you wouldn't need help." Bast concluded, looking to Eilidh and Gina.

"We are here to help, Miss Gina. Don't hesitate in leaving everything for us if things get dangerous." Bast said, with a reassuring smile.

As Eilidh said she was also ready to go, Bast looked to her eyes, with a serious expression.
"Don't you worry. I'm here with you." He said with a reassuring nod.

"Shall we go then?" He said to both Eilidh and Gina.

Freyr

Freyr chuckled when he heard Haley's cheerful voice, saying that she would stay as well, before going to look at the new guild some more before coming to help Bast and Bartholomew.

As he accompanied Bartholomew outside to help him, he was surprised by Bart's concern about him. It wasn't hard to see that Freyr wasn't really himself that day, but even though, Bartholomew had absolutely no obligation to hear or help him, but Freyr was glad that he was showing such concern about him.

"No, no! It's nothing like that." Freyr said with a chuckle after Bart's joke about beating the poet.

"That poet from the request was indeed a bit... eccentric... But he said some things that made me think a lot of things..." Freyr said, with a thoughtful expression, helping Bart to place the post.

"There is a reason why Vieras are so rare. They rarely leave their forests. In fact, if a Viera leaves the forest it was born, this Viera will be exiled and won't be permitted to enter the forest ever again. That coupled with the fact that male and female Vieras live completely separated from each other, without even seeing each other except in very special or urgent occasions mean that the life of a male Viera is pretty lonely..." Freyr said.

"I won't lie... My decision to leave the forest wasn't an easy decision to make. But in the end, I felt like it was the only decision I could take at the moment. There was nothing to keep me on that forest. Somehow, I didn't feel like my place was there. There was no one that would really miss me if I left so... I did." He continued.

"I do not dislike the life I've been living until now... Travelling, seeing new things, learning new things, meeting new people..." He said, stopping for a second and looking to Bart.

"But everything changed when I met Haley." Freyr said, with a thoughtful expression.

"To be honest, I find it a bit hard to put it in words... I don't really understand what I'm feeling but..." Freyr said, with a troubled expression.

"I am happy near her. Her cheerful behavior, her happiness. I can't help but feel... satisfied by being near her." Freyr said, with a smile on his face.

"The problem is that I don't know anything about relationships or love... And I don't really want Haley to go... It might be a selfish thing to think but..." Freyr said, embarrassed.

Nenetl

Nenetl heard the vampire's speech with a confused expression. A vampire talking about honesty and sincerity? Not only that but she couldn't disagree more with everything he was saying. A creature that needs to steal blood to keep itself alive talking about being virtuous?

"Honesty and Sincerity... Either you have them or you do not. They are not qualities that can be acquired solely with the passage of time." Nenetl said, sighing deeply after hearing everything.

"Not the best first meeting, I see... We are too different from one another... Almost... Incompatible I would say so..." Nenetl said, with a serious expression.

"Let's leave as it is for now, lest we want to make this unfortunate meeting turn us into enemies." Nenetl said, almost like if she was tired of that discussion.

"As a last word though... I would be grateful if you did not call me a child or underestimate me, vampire. Appearances can be mistaken, and I'm stronger than I look." Nenetl said with a piercing stare, almost like a warning to keep his fangs away from her.

After she finished talking to the man, she turned to the elf as he said something about the vampire paying for her.

"No, please no. I don't have anything to do with him, I'll pay my own coffee." Nenetl said, negating vehemently.

"Regarding to the pepper... Of course chīlli!" Nenetl said, almost like if it was the clearly obvious choice. The way she pronounced chili was an archaic one, definitely different from the modern pronunciation.

"It's pungent taste is good for both the body and the soul. To heal and purify. It has a myriad of qualities. In some cultures, it's said that chīlli is a present from the heavens." Nenetl continued, with a smile to the elf boy.

"How much will it be?" She asked to the boy.

"Ten for the coffee, and how much for the chīlli?" she asked, putting her hand on the small pouch and taking off a few dollar bills.

But before she could hear the boy's answer, she felt an unique magical energy radiating from someone behind her.
Turning to the man behind them, she looked at him with a curious, but intense stare without saying a word, analyzing the strange magical energy emanating from the man's soul. While she had never seen something like that, she could feel a tiny, tiny resemblance to the very magic her and the other shamans wielded...
While certainly unusually intense and rather uncomfortable, it wasn't an hostile stare, as it was easy to see the genuine curiosity on the woman's face.

Isis Nasri

Anselmo Date 2353-08-14
Location: The Wild World, Outpost ZT-141, 'Treehouse'

While many others introduced themselves, checked their equipment and vehicles, carrying weapons of all forms, a distinct figure walked around the outpost laying comfortably on the back of an intimidatingly big, black duvari without a care in the world. While domesticated duvaris were somewhat common, it was incredibly rare to see wild duvaris of that size around, especially not snarling and threatening to rip your throat if you get closer... Even amongst others, the female duvari seemed to be incredibly calm, quietly walking around with her owner laying on its back, with her arms around its neck as they walked. The attention the two were drawing was unavoidable, and as they passed, many others stopped what they were doing to look at the two exotic figures calmly walking.

Unfazed by the curious stared, be them directed to the duvari or to her curvaceous body, gracefully lying on the female duvari, Isis looked around, searching for the man they were supposed to meet. Not much was said to her about the mission, only that it was to scout a certain area and report their findings.
Finally locating them, Isis analyzed them by the distance. Jake Cross was exactly how she thought he would be. He had not only the appearance, but the overall feel of someone who passed by a lot of things in his life. Other than Cross, some unknown figures were slowly gathering around him. Apparently, they were the rest of the crew she would work with. While Isis herself was a bit skeptical about working with a crew of that size just for a scouting mission, something she did a lot of times accompanied just by Bastet, she took a small bit to appreciate the exotic and unlikely group that was gathered there, a few whom Isis certainly would keep an eye on, especially the one who had just arrived, escorted by two guards who seemed to be quite relieved to get rid of him...

"Jake Cross, I presume?" Isis asked, approaching the group, still laying on Bastet's back without making a sound.

Even if it wasn't either Isis nor Bastet's intention to creep behind the group like that, they couldn't really avoid it, since both of them were too used to the necessity of not making a sound while scouting the forest... That coupled with the fact that Isis herself was too used with Bastet to even consider her being 'scary' (and that most of her missions she was alone...) made it impossible for Isis to even consider that someone on the crew might not like duvaris that much...

"Isis Nasri." The girl said, looking to the group.

"And this one is Bastet." The girl said, approaching her face from the female duvari's, as the big beast gently rubbed her head on Isis' before jumping down from the duvari's back.

"Don't worry. She won't attack anyone without a good reason, or if I don't tell her to... That said... I would not recommend you guys to tease her since she is not one of your usual domesticated duvari." Isis said, calmly caressing Bastet's chest. The way the female duvari was standing near Isis, too close to her, almost like if she was protecting the girl and the way they looked and moved in perfect synchrony made clear the fact that they weren't simply a ranger and its mount.

After such a warm welcome, it wasn't surprising to see that every step Henri gave was carefully planned. He didn't knew anything about that place, but after that first meeting, one thing became incredibly clear to him: nobody there was his 'ally'. The staff could not be trusted, not even the guards, and he knew nothing about the other students, saving a few faces like Leith and Lyn.

Without saying even a word, the walk to the office together with Gray to get him registered as a student was done silently with a tense atmosphere. Every step Gray gave, Henri carefully watched, paying attention on him and his surroundings. He didn't trust that man. After all he had seen and heard, he was only a puppet of that creature...

After finishing signing a few papers, Henri was free to roam around and do whatever he wanted. He didn't knew that much about the school, as he had just arrived there. Nobody said anything to him, guided him thorough the college or even said where he was going to stay, instead, they only threatened him and then thrown him at his own luck...

"Just like home eh..." He muttered to himself, with a bitter expression.
"I guess that nothing really changed." he said, shrugging and continuing walking back the way he came, back to the courtyard.

As he calmly walked, he remembered Lyn's words. She had said to meet her in three hours on the library... But there was only one problem with that. He didn't know where the library was...

As he arrived on the courtyard again, he walked towards the location where the gargoyles were. The big stone statues stood imposingly with distant expressions. Each one of them had a different expression, every single one different from the other. Lyn did say something about asking the gargoyles, and the runes carved on each one of them were clear indications on how they worked, but Henri had his own thoughts flooding his mind on that moment.

Lyn was one of the few that he trusted on the school. While he was grateful for her help a while before and knew she was a kind girl, he wasn't that happy that she had chosen the library for their meetings. While it was true that Henri enjoyed reading sometimes, he wasn't really in the mood to do so right now...

Before he could continue thinking about the situation, a comfortable, cold breeze interrupted him, making him turn towards the direction where the wind was coming from. Looking to the blue sky above him, Henri closed his eyes, feeling the breeze caressing his face and hair.
He remembered feeling the same thing before, many, many times on many cities he visited with his troupe. It didn't matter how rich or how poor the cities were, violent or peaceful, there was one thing that never changed...

"The thieves' highway..." He thought to himself with a smirk, repeating a slang that was commonly used on big cities to refer to the rooftops.

Compared to the closed, tomb like space that should be the library, the thought of staying outside enjoying the breeze, resting on the branch of a tree was almost far too good to ignore. But he owed Lyn one. She helped him back there against that orc woman, even in the situation he already was, hungry and thirsty... She deserved at least for him to listen to what she had to say. Even though he already had an idea of what she would possibly want to talk and didn't like it even one bit...

Walking towards one of the gargoyles, he looked at its expression. This one had a impish smirk on its face... An expression Henri was too familiar with. It was an ironic coincidence, but he was looking at the gargoyle's expression right now.

"Such an ironically familiar expression..." Henri said with his hand already above the carved rune, activating the statue.

"To the library, my impish friend." He said with a chuckle, waiting to the statue's activation.

He could only hope Lyn wouldn't take that long to meet him. Sure... he could wait for her reading a book maybe... But he would rather relax and enjoy the breeze outside.

Bast Ragoczy

Bast simply heard quietly as the others continued to discuss about the guild's name. Personally, he wasn't that interested on what it would be called, but he couldn't help but agree that calling it just 'the Guild' was too... bland and generic, but he choose to kept his thoughts to himself.

With the next morning, also came new requests, and surprisingly enough, a bag of gold, presumably from lady Natasha.

"Good morning, Bartholomew." Bast replied, tipping his hat after he heard Bartholomew greeting everyone.

"As always, I have no use for money, so I would gladly leave it to the guild." Bast said, in a polite tone.

As he started to read the requests, he raised an eyebrow. Those were certainly interesting requests, well... Minus the last one of course... But today he wouldn't have the luxury to choose which request he would take. That honor was all Eilidh's...

"Good morning to you too, mein fraulein." Bast said to Eilidh.

"Any request that caught your attention?" He asked, looking to her, analyzing her reactions.

"As I said yesterday, you don't need to fear or be apprehensive. I will be with you if something happens." Bast said, obviously referring to the talk Eilidh and him had about going berserk the other day.
This time, Bast wasn't provoking or being mischievous. Unlike most times, Bast's smile wasn't that signature, mysterious and cryptic smile he always had. There was no 'dangerous' or malicious air... His smile was tranquil, warm and reassuring.

Freyr

The next morning, Freyr took a bit longer to wake up. Usually, he was mostly always one of the firsts to wake up, but he took a while to sleep the previous night. It didn't matter how much he tried to forget it and sleep, his mind always drifted off to the things that he was talking about with Haley and the poet.

"Good morning..." Bast said, stretching himself.

"Sorry for taking so long. I had some problems to sleep last night..." Bast said, looking to Bartholomew and the others.

"Currently there are many things in my mind... Some things that the poet said yesterday made me think..." Bast continued with a thoughtful expression.

"I think that I will help you here today, Bartholomew. I don't think my head is in order for me to enter in combat right now. I'm afraid that I could hurt an ally." He completed, sitting on the table and starting to slowly eat something.
