Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

Truth be told, Ylva was already expecting them to not have Akevitt or even Mead and was starting to think about a substitute but when the black haired woman told her that they actually had some, an entire bottle at that, she couldn't help but let out a surprised smile and a chuckle. To make it even more surprising, the particular bottle she had was one Ylva particularly liked.

"Hey, didn't think I would see one of those so far away from home." Ylva said with a chuckle as she looked at the bottle.

"And this one happens to be one of my favorite ones." she said with a satisfied smirk.

When she heard the woman's offer to make her a custom cocktail for her, Ylva raised an eyebrow with a curious expression. She had still some free time until it got dark enough for her to head to the woods. Plus, she was certain that her ancestors wouldn't mind if she took a small sip before the small ceremony and the offering.

"Hm... That would be interesting! Surprise-me." Ylva said with a smile, accepting her offer as she slid the still unopened bottle towards her and sat down in front of the counter.

"Oh and yeah, I arrived just a few weeks ago. You probably noticed by now but I'm Norwegian. Not exactly hard to notice, I know." she said with an amused chuckle.

"Hm... In a certain manner..." she replied when the black haired woman mentioned that it seemed like she was celebrating something.

"It's an old tradition, to share a drink in memory and respect for your ancestors and to those that passed away." she explained.

"Normally, it is a huge feast, with alcohol, food, meat, which is also usually hunted and slaughtered on the spot." she said, reminiscing about the previous feasts that she had with her clan.

"It's honestly great. Totally different from what most people think when they hear the words 'old tradition' or 'ceremony'. Drink and eat all you want, friendly spars and drunken brawls, dancing and singing soon after... The only bad part is the hangover if you're not a local or if it is your first time." she continued with a smile and a chuckle.

"It won't be much of a 'feast' this time though. At least not compared to how they were. Still, even though I am by myself, I still plan to honor my ancestors with a smile on my face and a drink in my hand." Ylva said, gently knocking on the Akevitt bottle with the back of her hand with a half smile.

"That said, It seems I found myself quite a nice place. I feel quite at home here. You guys do have Akevitt and I suppose Mead as well and even the occasional brawl!" She said with a laugh as she saw two guys brawling in the back.

"Might not party as rough as my kin but I certainly will become a regular." Ylva said, looking to the black haired woman once again. If she paid enough attention, Vivian would notice that the way Ylva referred to her people was a bit... different than normal.

"I am Ylva by the way." she said, extending her hand towards the black haired woman with an amicable smile. Should Vivian accept the handshake, she would feel a firm and strong handshake from Ylva. In a certain manner, exactly what one would have expected from her, due to her rather strong physique for a woman.

With Fatima continuing her act and having decided that they would indeed attend to Queen Alice's invitation, it was but one more situation that they would need to face. Even though, according to Fatima herself, she felt that Sybl was one of her own, Mikhail didn't seem to be the only one who thought it was unwise to trust him just because of that fact. With Denvar and Jandar accompanying Fatima and Sybl, there were enough people to keep Fatima safe, just in case Sybl or someone else had any funny idea. That said, Mikhail couldn't help but agree with Gennar as he approached Dareen, telling her to go with Fatima. Not only her presence might confuse the town as well but it will be another layer of defense for Fatima. While Fatima and the others went to search for a dress, he and Gennar were to work in a much more problematic and dangerous assignment... The 'requirement' the old priestess talked about earlier.

Mikhail simply nodded to Gennar as he nudged him, following him upstairs soon after. Not only they needed to find SaDiablo but more importantly, they needed to find a way to keep him under control, which was going to be very hard...

"The... 'requirement'..." Mikhail said in a low tone, once they were already far enough so Sybl nor any unwanted guest might hear them.

"We need to find a way to keep it under control..." he said to Gennar as they got up the stairs.

Truth be told, Mikhail had no idea on how they could do such thing, but if they didn't, SaDiablo might become a huge threat to the group if he somehow changed his mind or betrayed them.

Other than a simple nod accompanied with a sharp, dangerous stare, Ayita was silent the entire time when Kuroi led them through the slums. In full alert, she made sure to not let a single movement pass unnoticed, whether it was from Kuroi, Torvi and the other man who was with them or any people they might stumble with on their way. The very fact that she was among strangers and that she didn't know the slums as well as Kuroi did already put her in a disadvantageous position in case something happened. That said, even though she didn't trust them that much, she still had no other choice but follow them. Ayita had to get to the docks to try and find Cade and Sakura again.

Even with Kuroi's knowledge of the slums, it was still a long and exhausting way until they got to the docks. Without much time to rest, Ayita was already tired when they arrived on the city walls. Her stamina from hunting and dancing back in earth did help her a lot, although it didn't give her infinite stamina. Stopping both to rest for a bit and hear Kuroi's words, Ayita leaned on the city walls, much like Kuroi, as he spoke.

"Drawing attention might not be the best choice in the state we are right now." she said, opening her mouth to speak something for the first time since she joined the group.

Ylva raised an eyebrow as she heard Luke's words. Since she first time she met him, her instincts told her that there was much more on that man than what he was just showing them. It was almost imperceptible but it was something in his eyes, the way he stared back at her without stepping back or even reacting was a dead giveaway that her instincts were indeed, right. That said... The warning she wanted to give him was already delivered. As long as he minded his own business and didn't make any hostile move towards her, they wouldn't have any problems.

As Ylva, Millie and Luke got out of the diner, Millie asked Ylva and Luke to tell more about themselves. Ylva restricted her stories mostly to the small town she lived in. Ordinary talk to anyone who lived in a small town, nothing suspicious about it on the surface, although it was clear that she didn't say the exact name of the town she lived and didn't talk much about her own past. Unsurprisingly, Luke also didn't give out much about his own past or about what he was hiding. Despite that, Millie didn't seem to catch on the strange atmosphere between Ylva and Luke or if she did, she still managed to maintain an adorably cute smile and cheerful attitude.

After a few minutes of chatting around though, they finally went their own ways. Not before Millie sharing her cellphone number with both of them though. Even though it seemed like Luke had understood her message, Ylva felt like it was still worth giving Millie a small warning about the man in question, which she did so by cellphone, sending her a brief message.

With that brief but interesting meeting over, Ylva was once again on her own, without much to do. Fortunately, she had a very good idea of what she was going to do that evening. She had yet to go exercise or do some hunting since she had arrived on the city and all that time without running freely like she used to do on her hometown was already making her feel a bit stressed. That said, there were a few preparations that needed to be done before she could go to the forest after the camping grounds. She merely had to go home and get a small backpack, the kind that most people would usually take when they went hiking. Small enough to not hinder her movements but spacious enough for her to take a hunting knife and a few things such as a small lighter and another few stuff for an evening 'picnic' that she was planning for her. The first one in quite some time.

With that done, she needed one last thing. No hunt would be complete without some alcohol, of course. Both as a tradition, a way for her to honor her ancestors and to make the lonely evening a bit better. Fortunately, she did heard some people talking about a good place to get some alcohol and that had a good variety too. A place called "Alexei's", Apparently a well known place around the town, something of a hot-spot for the older and younger generations alike. While it might be easier to just go to any small shop and buy a bottle of vodka, she still had some home that the place would have something a bit more... familiar to her, due to the rumors about the variety of drinks it served. That and since there was still some free time before the sun started going down, it was a good opportunity to go to the place and get to know it a bit better. After all, if they indeed had the type of alcohol she was searching for, she would almost certainly become a regular.

Arriving on the place, Ylva could quickly feel that Alexei's was indeed quite a cozy place and the number of patrons inside was a testament to how popular the place was. The rowdy atmosphere, while might be a turnoff for some people, made Ylva feel a bit more at home, as brawls were quite common in fasts and festivities back on her clan. As she made her way to the bar, Ylva approached a black haired woman that had just finished serving a drink to another patron.

"Hey, do you guys have some mead or some akevitt here? Bottle, not just a glass." Ylva said to the woman with an amicable smile as she approached the bar. Her strong accent and the foreign beverages she asked, a clear indication that she wasn't from these parts.

"Figured that I would have better chances of finding them here than in the shelves of a small market or something." she said with a chuckle.

"Other than that, I would also like something to drink. Feel free to recommend me something." she asked, looking to the black haired woman behind the counter.
@Rezod92

Really? that's strange... I swear i did change that part too. Hm... Will edit it again. Thanks for the heads up!
@PaulHaynek

Yeah, just realized that lol. Brainfart. On Ada's post I even wrote how she calls them "Spider ladies" lol Mixed up the names. Fixing it right now! :-)

Fixed!

Karina knew that the barrel of powder that was the city was about to blow at any moment. Not only the cult seemed to be moving and more active than ever but the people of the city, those who weren't brainwashed by the cult yet, that is, were also tired of all that. The streets were brimming with noise, unlike any of the many days she was trapped inside it. Angry shouts from the population, mad ramblings from brainwashed cultists and more. Beyond the walls, beyond those gates, the army of touch waited. The first time Karina knew that they indeed came, she was a bit relieved. No matter the reason, they did come.

At the distance, the angry shouts could be heard as a mob of angry people charged at the guards who were defending the gatehouse. The confusion would be welcome for their group, which had their own important tasks to complete. Bloodshed was unavoidable and Karina knew that. The cult wouldn't simply stay put, watching the army of touch destroy their plans and they certainly didn't seem to be the type of people who had any qualms in killing innocent people... They did things far worse than that on a regular basis, after all...

Meanwhile, Karina, Chres and the rest of the group were finishing their preparations. Much like the first day when Karina had arrived on the city, she was wearing the same courier attire but with a few extra layers of cloth beneath it. Discreet and virtually impossible to notice, they would be very useful in the battle to come. After all, she knew that she would probably have to use a great deal of her ability and if she didn't take the necessary precautions, her bodily temperature could fall to dangerous levels.

"You guys are better to get ready. Things will get pretty chaotic from now on..." she said to Chres, Octavio and the others as she finished her preparations.
Ada

@PaulHaynek@Rezod92@Restalaan@Stern Algorithm

Ada kept watching the situation carefully as Yang talked with the kikimoras. Even though there didn't seem to be other way to solve the situation other than a fight. Luckily for both Yang and Ada, their allies started arriving one by one, making the fight less dangerous. That said, even with the number of guildmates and allies surpassing the spider ladies, they still didn't surrender themselves, still in a fighting position.

With the atmosphere heavy with tension, it was the maid kikimoras who moved first, as the two in front charged at the group, with their strange looking sticks in their hands, ready to attack. Just as Ada was about to get ready to dodge though, she saw Kira diving through the air towards the kikimoras before she was hit by one of those strange sticks and fell, being caught by Haley. With Kira's dive interrupted, the two kikimoras continued on their path towards them, one targeting Yang and the other one, Ada herself.

Yang reacted fast to that, moving to intercept one of them while telling Ada to go after the other one. Even though Ada was really fast, the maid kikimoras still surprised her a bit with their speed. Not only that but they seemed to know how to fight with those strange sticks very well. Something that told Ada that they probably weren't just 'maids' despite their uniform... After all... Maids didn't need to fight that well, did they? Without thinking much more though, Ada was about to pounce on the kikimora, using her claws and teeth.

Thankfully, Sir Reed intercepted the kikimora before Ada could attack, using his sword to pressure the Kikimora that was going for Ada. Due to Sir Reed's intervention, it made Ada think a bit before attacking. Would her new friends from the guild be mad if Ada ended up seriously hurting or even killing one of the strange maids? Even though they were attacking them, Ada wasn't sure if she should go all out... For Ada, due to her claws, talons and teeth, it was a bit hard to avoid seriously wounding someone if she had to fight them... Using the chance Sir Reed gave her, Ada dashed forward, using her claws to try and slash the kikimora maid's arms, trying to avoid any big wound and instead only focusing in trying to scare her and make her feel a bit of pain, enough for her to drop the strange sticks. If possible, Ada didn't want to do anything that could wound the maid kikimoras that much. She didn't know how her new friends from the guild would react if Ada ended up killing one of them and she certainly didn't want to make them mad or be scolded...

Freyr

Freyr arrived soon after Sir Reed, together with Haley. It didn't take much evaluation to realize that the fight was about to start. The kikimoras were already armed and in a combat posture, just as Yang and Ada were. Immediately getting his bow, Freyr got ready for the combat, nocking an arrow and pointing towards the Kikimoras. He didn't know why they were so hellbent on kidnapping Nero but he surely wouldn't let them do whatever they wanted.

Kira, who tried to intercept the two kikimoras that were running towards Yang and Ada was hit with the sticks, which interrupted her dive and sent her flying towards the ground. Thankfully, Haley was quick to react and caught her before she hit the ground. Freyr kept his eyes open, ready to intercept any other stick that might be flying towards Haley, who was still helping Kira. Meanwhile, Yang, Sir Reed and Ada were still fighting against the other two kikimoras who charged first. While Ada and Sir Reed seemed to be having an easier time, Yang was in a pretty difficult fight against the kikimora. With both of them having taken multiple hits from one another, they separated from each other for a moment, after both of them taking painful hits. It was on that moment that the kikimora that was fighting against Yang realized that Ozzy was going for the cart to try and help Nero and threw one of her sticks at him.

Moving with agile precision, Freyr let out the arrow he had nocked on his bow, intercepting the stick that the kikimora had thrown on Ditzy, altering it's trajectory enough so it wouldn't hit neither Ditzy nor Nero.

"I will cover you, Ditzy. Just focus on taking Nero somewhere safe!" Freyr yelled as he nocked another bow, taking a glance at Ozzy, Margaret and Kira, who were fighting against the other Kikimora that had engaged Ozzy.

With sharp eyes looking at the ongoing battle, even though Freyr was on the background, he was still a serious threat. Focusing on intercepting any stick that was thrown and if necessary, firing an arrow at the kikimoras that were actively fighting his allies in order to interrupt attacks or even give his allies chances to attack, he was trying his hardest to support his allies from range.
Sorry for the delay! Will have something done tomorrow!

Kalla

Maeve listened to Valia words with attention as she described how she took care of her own body, noticing the differences and similarities on how Isoli nobles cared for their own beauty. Even though Maeve was a duelist, she was also a woman and as it was evident by her dress and her silky smooth hair and impeccably white skin, she did care quite a bit about her own appearance.

"Interesting! Different climates need different ways to take care of one's body. Although there are some similarities to how we Isoli care for our beauty, such as the moisturizing part." Maeve said with a smile as she continued to help Valia to take care of Lynn while making sure she was observing how Valia herself did it.

"I may have to take a day for me to take care of my skin too. Earlier than what I expected as well. My skin isn't really accustomed with this climate. The heat and the sand are definitely taking their toll on my hair." Maeve said, with a slightly worried expression.

When Valia apologized for rambling though, Maeve couldn't help but giggle a bit. It was nice to have someone else that was willing to talk about beauty even though she was so far from home.

"Oh please! I should be the one thanking you for sharing your secrets! They definitely will be useful in this climate." Maeve said, laughing just as they took Lynn out of the water, helping her to sit on a small chair.

"If you feel too uncomfortable and want us to stop, you just need to tell us, okay? That say, just try to relax a bit. You are in very good hands, right Valia?" Maeve said, with a small wink to Valia and a giggle.

Strangely enough, even though Maeve had met Valia only recently, she somehow felt a connection with the woman. Almost as if they were already good friends despite how far away they lived from each other.

"Madam Valia surely is a master in taking care of her body and it does take quite a lot of work to be this pretty despite being a duelist, you know?"
Maeve said, laughing as she tried to calm Lynn down and make her feel a bit less uncomfortable with all that.
