Deston's March | A Newbie Adventuring Group RP

A decent house on wheels came into the fair town with 2 horses pulling it. A young female was on the seat and was taking in the sights. Like most places and at this particular time, many people are heading home. Some would pick up some bread or veggies or something to take home for dinner. In fact, Ixonia noticed that she was hungry and headed to the Inn where she pulled up in front of.

She tied the horses to the wagon bed, checked her 'front' door and walked through the wagon door and down the steps. Her skirts swished about her as she walked. She petted each muzzle and tied the horses to the hitching post.

Ixonia walked into the tavern and looked about to find a likely party that would accept her at their table. She weaved around the hands good naturally for she also knew that most men couldn't resist temptation of a new female......

She gradually made her way to where there were several people at a table. With her best smile, she asked

"May I join you in sitting here? I shall pay for my own food and drink." she spoke quietly as she looked them.

Magicktica Academy

I run a series of Academy RPs. Each Academy is in a different country and specializes in different careers. I have set up hidden Laws of Magick which you will learn when you get to the Career Exploration Classes.I have many creatures that you may 'buy'. But let's start at the beginning.

Basic Education will teach you all about the different Magicks so that you will be safe and can handle low grade Magicks. You can quickly learn a trade and set up a shop after you finish the Basic Education Classes.
while in Basic Education, Classes start out with Meditation. Breakfast will follow.
All of the Academies are on the idea of taking courses on your own or if you prefer, a group classes situation may be had. You will be doing experiments and exercises in all of your classes.

After you have passed Basic Education, you may take Career Exploration. In this class, you will do a few exercises about what you expect in Life. Quizzes are about what kind of a career would be best suited to you, what guild you would like to be, what pet, companion and Patronus you might have.
At the end of the classes, you must make such decisions as to what you will do for a career. Trade School is simple and needed or Higher Education Courses.

During Higher Education Courses, you will learn a specific career, many careers have the same classes as each other. You will work towards a very specialized Career.

There are 2 other things that are done.
Summer Break Trip and Independent Study Classes which are designed to make you a well round person.

Welcome to Magickictica Academy! This is not like your typical 'Harry Potter' World but it is where you are but a class from leaving this world and going to a Unique World of my own Creation. A place where you can learn new rules about Magic and how it works.

There will be new technologies of an advanced civilization and will be based on Magic of my World and the on the laws of magic there.

Atoms and Electricity will not exist. Nor would there be any fossil fuels. Everything will be based on magic and how to convert magic into a sustainable energy source. Does this explain a bit more of my world abilities will consist of?

I will be starting an academy of magic based on new principals and laws. You will learn as you go about how to live on this planet. The one drawback is that when you arrive on this new planet, you have returned to your teenhood. You will be between 15 and 17 as well as a minor. You will stay a minor until you are 20.

You will be doing things such as learning magic, creatures of the land, plants and trees. You will learn on a hands on basis and may even flunk a test by becoming ill from a poisonous plant or creature. Once you have learned a class, you will earn points towards your ranking which is very important in this Academy.

I plan on having a wide variety of jobs that you could do when you graduate. After your Orientation and Introductory Classes, you will be ranked. You will also be choosing a career and moving to that Guild Floor.

While I have the classes set up kinda, you might have suggestions.
I would like to have side plots that can be used.
I have a game to use if anyone wants to have a weekend game to attend.

A Long Walk (Aisling and Bloonewb)

Noreen followed behind Sura, Sean and her mother who made sure that Carolyn was at her side. She had her beading basket and some money which was tucked into a knotted bag and tied to the bottom of the basket. She didn't take chances on thieves getting what little she had. She had hopes of buying more beads and perhaps some string. She might even find a book on animals of the world. She always loved to read and she had excellent penmanship so perhaps she could get new nibs for her ink pen. Then if there was any money leftover, she would buy a few sweets.

Noreen glanced at Jacquelyn and wondered what she was thinking. Perhaps Father would give them a bit of money to spend today....

"Father wil let us know when it is time then I'll line up in my spot as usual." Noreen spoke as she finished dressing. She picked up a basket that had some beading to do in it.
Suddenly a knock on the door and Sean called out
"Time, girls."

"Thanks, Father. We are ready to move out. See? Nothing to worry about, Jacquelyn. I wonder what a bedroom in a hotel looks like...." Noreen spoke as she went out the door with her basket.
"Coming?"

"And so what if I am wrong? There are many things in this world that I do not yet know. Perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me where the creatures are so that I can look them up." Noreene spoke as she changed into traveling clothes.

"Are you ready to travel as well? Father says that we will be soon leaving. The horses are well brushed, fed, watered and hitched up. And I have had my breakfast."
