| {Appearance} |Coppery red hair is the first thing you notice about Jaslyn, that and her height. Coppery red, thick and wavy to the middle of her back. She pulls it up or braids it most of the time save for her Padawan braid. She is five feet ten inches or 177.8 centimeters. She has a complexion that is most often described as cream and cinnamon, or pale and freckled. She has light gray eyes that change slightly depending on what mood she is in. Her teeth are even and white. Her lips are a neat cupid's bow a few shades pinker than her skin tone.
She is of an average fit figure, toned lean muscle, and at present could not be mistaken for a boy as she used to before puberty. She is quite apparently female with an hourglass shape.

Jaslyn is very justice oriented but believes that everyone deserves a second chance. She is also a pacifist. She doesn't like to kill and prefers to not be placed in a situation where she has to. Her Empathy is a source of contention for her. She does not enjoy others feelings overwhelming her and constantly restrains that particular power in stressful situations, if she remembers. When she lets it go she frequently has to reign it back in to separate her own emotions and those around her. She is calmest when fighting. Meditation for her is a practiced form of movements that include all of her combat abilities, in essence moving meditation. Passionate emotions are a weakness for Jaslyn whether they're her own or not.

- Curious – When it comes to new ideas, Jaslyn isn’t interested in brooding – she wants to go out and experience things, and don’t hesitate to step out of their comfort zones to do so. Jaslyn is imaginative and open-minded, seeing all things as part of a big, mysterious puzzle called life.
- Observant – Jaslyn believes that there are no irrelevant actions, that every shift in sentiment, every move and every idea is part of something bigger. To satisfy her curiosity, Jaslyn tries to notice all of these things, and to never miss a moment.
- Energetic and Enthusiastic – As she observes, forming new connections and ideas, Jaslyn won’t hold her tongue – she’s excited about her findings, and shares them with anyone who’ll listen. This infectious enthusiasm has the dual benefit of giving Jaslyn a chance to make more social connections, and of giving her a new source of information and experience, as she fits her new friends’ opinions into her existing ideas.

Weaknesses
- Poor Practical Skills – When it comes to conceiving ideas and starting projects, especially involving other people, Jaslyn has exceptional talent. Unfortunately her skill with upkeep, administration, and follow-through on those projects struggles. Without more hands-on people to help push day-to-day things along, Jaslyn’s ideas are likely to remain just that – ideas.
- Find it Difficult to Focus – Jaslyn is a natural explorer of interpersonal connections and philosophy, but this backfires when what needs to be done is that report sitting right in front of them. It’s hard for Jaslyn to maintain interest as tasks drift towards routine, administrative matters, and away from broader concepts.
- Overthink Things – Jaslyn doesn't take things at face value – she looks for underlying motives in even the simplest things. It’s not uncommon for Jaslyn to lose a bit of sleep asking herself why someone did what they did, what it might mean, and what to do about it.
- Get Stressed Easily – All this overthinking isn’t just for her own benefit – Jaslyn, especially with her Empathy, is very sensitive, and cares deeply about others’ feelings. A consequence of her popularity is that others often look to them for guidance and help, which takes time, and it’s easy to see why Jaslyn sometimes gets overwhelmed, especially when she can’t say yes to every request.
- Highly Emotional – While emotional expression is healthy and natural, with Jaslyn even viewing it as a core part of her identity, it can come out strongly enough to cause problems for her. Particularly when under stress, criticism or conflict, Jaslyn can experience emotional bursts that are counter-productive at best.

Dathomir
| {Background} |I was born on Dathomir. Mother Gina Starr Dayne and father Jor Dayne. My mother was of the Singing Mountain Clan. Earliest memory is of riding a Rancor through a ravine seated on my mother's lap. I was no more than fourteen when I was taken to Mandalor, which would be my new home.
I became fascinated with the Saberstaff and dual wielding two lightsabers and pushed myself to study them. I can remember seeing a Knight, who would later be my Master, going through her forms and I was determined to use the Saberstaff as well.
I was very drawn to Soresu, Form III The Way of The Mynock and Ataru, Form IV The Way of the Hawk Bat and practiced daily and began to personalize them so that I could use a Saberstaff and dual wielding in both forms. Modifications to Form I, III and IV include my inclusion of Jar’Kai. I prefer using Sun Djem as a disarming attack versus a killing blow. I am proficient in Sokan and am working on Telekinetic Lightsaber Combat. I have interests in honing my Force talents as well as Form III and IV.
I feel my most at peace when reflecting on my training and allowing the Force to guide my reflection of the days events. I find that this method of reflection isn't common and have mostly kept things to myself on the subject.
Merrian took me under her wing when I was nine just after my Padawan Trials were completed and have been with her for ten years. I believe she chose me because of my favored weaponry and my compassion. She may have other reasons but I have had no need to ask and find that acceptance, while a little hard to swallow at times, serves me far better than fighting the inevitable.
I passed the Knight Trials quickly. I learned many things but I find that the most important is that if we search for it the knowledge to help anyone is there to be used. You just have to look hard enough.
