There's a difference between the ability to be social, and the desire to be social. I function perfectly fine going outside and talking to people, but that doesn't mean I *like* doing either.

Pilk seems to be trending, so I tried it. Anyone who tells me this is a good drink is no longer a person I wish to associate with.

Bio

The day that Moss was hanged, eight others were cut down,
And when the graves had all been dug, the queen rode out of town.

Kinda rushed that one out because I couldn't connect to the guild for an entire day and didn't want to hold stuff up -w-'

~~Nico~~

"Even if it was hard to resist, you still..." Nico trailed off as she muttered to herself, a light blush on her cheeks from being tricked. Her being flustered didn't last incredibly long, however, as Hanako explained her current situation. Nico gasped and partially covered her mouth with one hand, shocked from the revelation.

"It Exploded?! What a dangerous accident! I honestly hope nobody got hurt from that..."

Nico breathed out a sigh and crossed her arms, staring off to the side as she regained her composure. Having something that terrifying happen to poor Hanako was worrisome. Nico felt like it might've been the work of a monster she had failed to eliminate. If that was the case, the girl had failed at her duties, even if she was still new to all of this. With the Hex Night so soon, she couldn't afford to have any slip-ups like that anymore. While Nico didn't know the story was entirely fabricated, it nonetheless made her gain some resolve to push through and do her duty no matter the cost.

"What a surprise, though... I had no idea something like that happened to you. Himeko-san, you have to help her!" she begged, looking up towards the shrine maiden with a glint in her eyes. Nico wanted to help Hanako herself, but her parents were much too strict to allow such a thing. The only thing she could do was rely on the shrine maiden to listen to Hanako's request.
I'll get a post up Saturday at the soonest. Pretty annoying for me to write on school days.
FTE progress so far:

Me, being the almighty demi-god I am, am the only one who came up with a system and am, therefor, the objectively best player in this entire RP.

Proposed sytem: People send in pairings they'd like to do ahead of time and discuss among themselves who'm gets to do-est what-est with their one slot. We collab an FTE. Once they're locked in (or before if this takes too long) Serious gives us a date before which we'll have to have posted the collabs (date pending). Characters are not forced into FTE's if they don't want them.

Suggested pairings by players + pitches:

discuss in discord if you have any ideas.
In leau of Floodtalon dropping, I'm going to start allowing people to have 2 characters if they desire. If a majority don't, then I'll likely open the interest checks again.

This is like the one RP where I absolutely don't want a second character 'cause Cyll's already a little fink to deal with, lol.
What a strange definition of short you have. That's a perfectly reasonable length. :<

I call it short because I was super writers-blocked on it and couldn't actually find anything interesting to do with it. When I'm actually inspired it's double that one's length and also written gooder.
short, shit and I don't like it, but I didn't want to hold anyone up either so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"S-Sisters?!"

Nico was shocked that her guess turned out to be correct, eyes wide open in disbelief. The girl never knew that the young shrine maiden had a sister! Still, the longer she thought about it, the weirder it seemed. Nico was sure Hanako had been in the same school as her for at least the past year. She also didn't seem like the type of girl that would wander the country. Most of the times Nico saw her, Hanako was taking a nap somewhere... it was hard to believe someone with such little energy could muster that kind of willpower.

"Ah, Hanako-san! Are you alright?"

Nico took notice of how uncomfortable Hanako seemed to be with the entire situation. She was mumbling, staring down at her feet and the girl's face was steadily getting more and more flushed. Nico put two and two together, figuring out that Himeko was messing with the both of them. She looked back up at the shrine maiden with a frown.

"Himeko-san, you shouldn't tease us like that... I really believed you were siblings for a moment there!"

-Naomi Fukuda-

This entire time, Naomi had just been sitting there. She didn't eat from the food that was provided, she hadn't engaged with anyone and nobody paid any attention to her. The girl was left alone after she'd slipped in and taken a seat, being as quiet as a mouse in order to not get noticed by anyone. She witnessed every part of the drama, from its start to its finish. Nobody had any good ideas, things were a mess and people were already at each other's throats. And... throughout all of this, the same nagging feeling kept chewing away at her.

"What if we can't escape?"

For the first time in the entire happenings, Naomi raised her voice. She raised herself from her seat, hands pushing against the rickety table to lift herself upwards. The girl's face was stern, yet uncomfortable.

"What if the bear's telling the truth? That the only way to get out is to murder someone? What are you all going to do then?"

Her legs were shaking slightly as she spoke, but the girl tried not to show it. She raised her chin up and tried staring everyone down, despite not being all that tall herself.

"F-from all I've been hearing, nobody has any clue about what to do. It's got us cornered like rats. Then it's only a matter of time before the rats bite back..."

Naomi moved towards the exit of the mess hall, the same one Momoe went through. She paused in front of the open door to twirl back around to everyone.

"She's right... this is just wasting everyone's time. I'm going back to my room..." she announced, turning and shutting the door behind her as she left.

xxx Cyll xxx

Cyll didn't feel at ease for a single second while Oliver was around. In fact, he still couldn't relax even after the harvin had gone off with the good doctor.

"I don't like guys like him..." Cyll growled once he was out of ear-shot, dropping his arms down in order to prop himself up a little more. He continued to stare at the door the duo had left through, ready to jump out of the bed and run over in case he heard anything funny happen from where he sat. Strength of one of the twelve be damned; Cyll had already faced deathly odds and come out on top on the same day.

Of course, once his nose picked up the smell of freshly cooked food, all this was thrown right out the window. Cyll could instantly feel his stomach growling from all the needless exercise he'd done that day, as well as missing out on his original meal. He whipped his head around to see the local, bipedal fungi delivering a duet of still-hot goodness to both him and his fellow patient. Drool dripped from Cyll's mouth as the plate was set in front of him, not once having taken his eyes off the food this entire time. Not only that, but it was fish. Cyll loved fish.

"Ohgreatprimalthisisamazingthankyou!"

The boy nabbed the plate once it was free. Cyll also wasted no time in grabbing the fork that was given to him, stabbing it straight through the long-dead nautical creature with the swiftness of a lightning bolt. Somehow the thing didn't fall apart despite having been softened up considerably, being left in one piece while Cyll brought it up to his face and tore into it. A huge chunk of fishy goodness filled his mouth as the rest of it dropped back onto the plate in his hands, but the boy hadn't even finished chewing before stuffing his mouth full of vegetables. He ate like a man possessed, devouring his meal faster than the speed of light until only a few insignificant scraps remained. Everything that had been served was consumed with delight, including Mucu's little gift.

"Oh man I haven't eaten this good in weeks!"

The boy set the plate down next to him, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and stretched his arms to celebrate. His relief didn't last long, however, as Cyll suddenly whipped his head back to Mushi. His face had genuine, unfiltered shock plastered all over it. There was even a hint of jealousy in there.

"Wait, don't tell me... did you get to eat food this amazing this entire time?! How lucky can you be?!"
